Time for a break.

 

Taking a break from cutting the grass I was supposed to do yesterday with my final bottle of Cat Grass. Damn I bought a lot of IPA's over the summer! While nowhere as dank as it was fresh, it's still really good.

 

Mrs Wiens and I went to The Portsmouth Brewery for lunch. Haven't been there all summer. I had Mamanajo, a collaboration with 7th Settlement in Dover, NH. It's a hoppy wheat beer and very good. Mrs Wiens had Bottle Rocket, but it was too shy to pose with my beer.



We stopped at Spruce Creek Provisions on the way home to pick up, well, provisions.
I'm drinking On Fleek, a big imperial stout.

 

It sure is and helped entertain me for five miles!

I will do my part....first of many today probably....just found out the company I work for is being sold to a large corp. etc....usual BS....my job likely is now at risk.....major "suck factor"!

Oh well, time to get the resume polished again.....

That's better! I didn't get stung this time, so that's a good thing. I've seen some of my neighbors to the west post these Hailstorm 'cloud' beers and I was finally gifted one by a friend today. While it doesn't hit the northeast style target, it is a damn tasty beer. A little tweaking to the recipe and this could be special. That aside, it's gold after mowing the lawn!
