I don't understand why you're being overly antagonistic.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't running around for cans this time because I have a lot of beer but I'm intrigued lol

That's part of the reason why I didn't want to run around on my lunch hour grabbing cans, there are so many options out there. I still have a bunch of cans from the last OH release and some Kinetic Cloud so I'm not really feeling that FOMO.

I found an unpriced Magnetic Compass on the shelf a couple months ago and took it to the register. $7.99 so I didn't buy it. I was so proud of myself for drawing the line but I don't think the can lasted another 10 minutes so it didn't make a difference.

My favorite Grimm IPA tbh. I'd have scooped that up in a heartbeat.

TBH, I had had it on tap already so wasn't as desperate as I would've been. Great beer indeed but man, I'd like to see the prices stop going up and, yes, I know it's not Grimm's fault.

Yeah I stopped by last night, but they'd sold out.

+1. Magnetic Compass was the truth.

Weird. I stopped by around 6 and they still hadn't gotten it. What time did you go?

I was there around 8. The guy I talked to was stocking the cheese. I thought I heard him say they sold out, but I was also just assuming they would have received it by then.

Hmm. Either they received it after 6 and sold out by 8, or they just never got it. I'm thinking that latter.

It's not unlikely that Grimm cans sold out in under an hour... I'll be in the neighborhood Monday and will update.

I picked a hell of a time to get sick. I did manage to split one of my Lambo cans with a buddy on Friday and it was absolutely delicious from beginning to end. It's like an adult Capri Sun with just a hit of bitterness on the finish.

I haven't had Pulse yet and, unfortunately, I don't know when I'll be able to. :slight_frown:

This batch of Pulse wave is amazing!

Lambo door is always a striking beer. Its consistently among the best ipas for showcasing the "candied" note in El Dorado.

Between the two though, if I was so unlucky that I could only drink one beer for the rest of my life, but fortunate enough that it was a Grimm beer, I'd go with Pulse Wave.

With that said, I do wonder what these cans taste like the day after canning, or thereabouts. I'm thinking of Grimm's previous flavor optimization chart and the fact that each beer was a week to two weeks old by the time it hit shops last week (two weeks being an aggressive rounding for Lambo canned 9/12 and bought Saturday 9/24).

Sorry for the double post, but having had a great can last night (fostering the previous post's review), I just poured out a definitely oxidized lambo door.

That is very troubling to us. Using mobile bottlers and canners is the most nerve-racking part of our process, because the final step in producing the beer is out of our control... we will try to step up our oversight measures.

Ehh, I understand and appreciate that, but look at what percentage of wine, even good wine, is defective. These explosively hoppy beers seem increasingly more delicate and fragile in regard to packaging. And I should say, I drink well over a case of Grimm cans every release over the time you've been releasing cans on the city and this is the first oxidized can I've ever gotten.

Union sq whole foods told me they get beer deliveries on Tuesdays. It doesn't seem like anyone knows what they're talking about. I thought all whole foods get their grimm deliveries on the same day, but i know they got kinetic cloud & present perfect later then the other whole foods and afterimage a day before.
