Full pour tent appears to be set up for today. Fog is burning off and it's slowly warming up - should be a great day for a casual afternoon visit!

About 100 in line right now.

People who've had inperpituity; do you think it is still worth trading for?

Definitely a great beer but it fell off a little fast

I second this. There are around 10 TH beers I like better than In Perp. Good, but it gets a little too much hype.

In perp was one my my top 3 TH single IPAs.
Just curious what're your top 5?

in perp last year lived up to all the hype. had it this year and it fell off after ten days. worth trading for at this point? no.

FWIW IP was incredible the day of the release, didn't have another one until a couple days ago. Definitely fell off a lot, but that first day...top 5 I've had from them

If it's limited to single IPAs?
    1. Julius
    2. Alter Ego
    3. Green
    4. Sap
    5. In Perp

If it's open to all TH canned offerings?
    1. Juice Machine
    2. Very Green
    3. King Julius
    4. Very Hazy
    5. Julius

Everything is subjective to individual preferences, obviously (I'm a Sap lover and think it is criminally underrated, although I don't mind cause that means I can load up when it comes out!), but I had In Perp 7 or 8 days after it's release and I thought it was way underwhelming for the amount of buzz it got. To each his own, I suppose.

I'm not really a sap fan. Have 8 cans from the last release that I would be willing to trade off.

I agree, taste is very subjective. I would put VH as my top tree house beer. Just had my last one yesterday. Also just had kj and dopple back to back. I prefer dopple. Kj is a great brew just a little over rated imo. I find it odd since I would take green and julius over alter.

Anyone know when stouts might start appearing regularly? I'm not a fan of IPAs, which seems to be the majority of what they make, but i heard Tree House makes some great stouts. Sadly i cant just take a day off of work whenever one appears on the tap list, and it's a long drive there. I know nothing is guaranteed but i'm hoping to just increase my chances of getting a stout when i go.

With the seasons changing you should be seeing more That's What She Said, Single Shot and Double Shot. And probably a Good Morning release. How often and when? You have as good a guess as any.

Made my first trip to Tree House on Saturday since moving to CT from Iowa. I live 2 hours away so I was initially worried about TH running out of beer as well as gloomy and rainy weather. It turned out to be a beautiful morning and got lucky to be there for Native 4 release and the pour tent. The day was capped off when the nice couple who were in front of us in line stopped by our car on their way out and gave me a Juice Machine (If you're reading this, thanks and you're awesome).

Between that and the general cool vibe of the customers and the staff, it reminded me why I still invest so much time into the beer scene. I'm glad the beers generally live up to hype too. I haven't had IPAs that good since the early days of Toppling Goliath. My fiance, who is much more a stout person than an IPA person, is already asking when we're heading back.

For those who make regular trips: what time do you have to get there on a Wednesday afternoon to be virtually guaranteed to get cans before they sell out?

In the summer....by 2 pm or so. Now? They haven't sold out many wednesdays since labor day. I'd say to be totally safe you'd need to be there by 4.

Yeah 3-4 seems to be a safe window based on their twitter. Definitely only get there early if you want to wait in line. I'm going around 11am because it's the only time I can go, but seems like the sweet spot has been early afternoon for in and out.
