Tree House Brewing Company (October 2016)

There was at least one day in August this summer when they sold out around 3-4, unless I'm remembering it wrong. But I agree for the most part. Even if it's Julius tomorrow it'll probably last until at least 5 given the season.

 

Yes. There were a couple 3:30-4pm sell outs over the summer. Over the last month or so it's been 4:30 or later (or not at all).

For anybody with little kids looking to pad (or justify) their TH trips, I strongly recommend Westview Creamery. My 2 year old twins and I spent 2.5 hours there today before we popped into TH for cans (10 min ftw!). My boys loved playing on the playscape stuff, feeding the goats and having lunch and ice cream too. It was a great day and I got to load up on 2 of my favorite ipas. TH even hooked up my boys with some free stickers...woot!

 

Can't believe these guys haven't been advertising for each other more often. The first I heard of them was when one of the Westview people posted in the Line Updates group asking Tree House goers not to park on the grass!

Next Saturday trip, I'm definitely gonna stop by and scope the place out.

Westview is truly a great place, if you catch it around sunset time you will be rewarded with one of the most magical views in our humble corner of the pioneer valley. They still make almost all of their ice cream in house on a little ice cream maker just like they did 20 years ago when I worked there as a kid.

If you do the trip in reverse you can even enjoy a TH beer there! Westview allows people to drink ONE beer there while they enjoy their farm. Please do them a favor and buy something though If you're hard pressed for what to buy, grab a quart of pumpkin ice cream, you will thank me later.

 

Second that -- the pumpkin is amazing! Huge servings too. Really nice people and a lovely view (with goats!). Next time I'm getting a burger.

Native Five?

 

Making a trip up tomorrow...while nothing wrong with Bright itself I was really hoping for something different. Last time I was up there few months ago they had Bright as well so kinda disappointed since I already had my fill of it. Any chance there might be something super special tomorrow?

 

Noone knows but the TH crew. However it's been a while since we got a curiosity can

 

Lol...last time I was up there they had Bright and Curiosity...I never get lucky with Green or Haze or anything else lol

 

A new curiosity is something you should be excited about!

 

New Curiosity is something im curious about, a KingJ or Very Hazy is something that would make me excited

 

I could see there being something special tomorrow. Haze and Doppel last week, Green and Julius yesterday, Bright today. This is all of the normal offerings in the last week besides Alter. I could see one of the "Verys" or One of the Julius variations. The last super special release was juice machine about a month ago. Could also be Sap or something like that

 

Starting to get into the window of a late Twitter post on today's drop. I think the likelihood of a rare release is increasing.

 

This is my last response, as I really hate polluting this thread with dumb squabbling, but if you read my original post I never said thats what I wanted. I was not saying anything controversial. You seem to like arguing though as is evident in your responses.
