No problem! So far I havent had any issues with rusting, which is fantastic as I was a little worried about it.

If you want to keep your caps in decent condition stay far away, but she'll always get the job done, and I'm never without it.

I have this exact opener as well and love it. I paid to have my name stamped into it. Great weight and feel as it's popping off caps. Cheers!

Bought this one not long after getting into craft beer. Has served me faithfully ever since.

Got it from MetwalWorn.com. Just a heads up, it is somewhat expensive (for a bottle opener) since it is made from high grade titanium.

Made my first Stainless steel damascus today, so of course, had to forge some openers out of it... and make sure they worked with a lunch beer.

This is more or less the one I have, mine has (well worn) nipples though but only because they're right where your thumb goes.

Something tells me that you could flip that opener over and use it with your thumb on her back.:wink:

Some really cool and unique openers out there!! I also collect my caps for an eventual project, but not sure what that might be. Sounds like the makings of a new thread!

Anyway I get new ones as gifts quite often, but it's taken me quite a while to find one that didn't destroy the caps and I believe the bottle popper to be the best at leaving the caps intact. This particular one was bought at a discount store in germany for 2 Euro. After I saw how well it worked (while hosting a party), I went back and got a dozen more as my friends were asking for one as well.

Gerber Curve - this one I carry in my pocket EVERYWHERE! Even lost one at an airport in Copenhagen forgetting it was in my pocket. They nearly called security for this little thing because the blade locks...WOW! What's sad is I carried that particular one for 8+ years! What else is sad is I gave my FIL one a few years ago and he got thru the security line next to mine with his...
The others are self explanatory. I probably have more laying around somewhere, but I can't think of any that would be unique.

I do not smoke cigarettes but I always have a BIC handy for opening bottles at home.
Feels easier (to me) than using your standard bottle opener. AND it does a great job preserving the caps I collect!

The Staropramen opener also doubles as a shoe horn (mostly what I use it for). The Newcastle opener is very durable. I've had it on my keychain for several years and it still looks good. On the right is an old Pearl Beer can and bottle opener I found in a house I rented.
