I've had several cans over the last week. IMO (and this applied even when the cans were fresher) it's OK, but not as mind blowing as I've come to expect from Grimm IPAs. Mostly because it's not a so-called "fruit bomb". I'd say the same thing about Lambo Door, but both are miles better than Pulse Wave which for me was easily the worst Grimm IPA I've ever had. Someone earlier in this thread said that all 3 of those September cans were too malty. I couldn't agree more. Hoping that the October cans are better.

I felt that the last two DIPA's were super malty, which is probably why im really enjoying Awoogah. I'm looking forward to Tesseract next! Has anyone had Field Rotation yet, I'm waiting to open my bottle...

I had a LamboDoor a couple days ago - while it had fallen off some, it was still pretty good.

I agree, just cracked into my 1st Awoogah today for lunch and I'm liking it, still not the hop bomb that has come to make Grimm so special to me, but it's good, not as malty as Lambo and Pulse.

The last Tesseract I had was on Draft back in May?(sometime around then), and it's still holding the place for my favorite IPA of 2016, my expectations are high for this upcoming batch just like they were for Lambo #3. Maybe I sound like a jerk but to be the best you have to stay the best.

I still think they make some of the best beer coming out of the NYC area, everyone gets so bogged down rating their IPAs that I feel people forget about the great sours and bottled offerings they put out. Of this months releases I was most excited for Apricot Rebus and Field Rotation. Really looking forward to Cherry Raspberry Pop! too. And we havent even gotten into their stouts and bigger beers coming up in the next few months. Fanboy rant over.

Same (though not in regard to Pulse Wave. While it's not as vibrant as it was fresh, I'm still really digging this beer) I had Splish last night and it's still pleasant.

I don't know that if I blind tasted Splish against fresh Ninja Vs Unicorn or Captain's Daughter I would prefer Splish though.

I totally agree, I actually got into their sours before the cans when I first discovered the brewery, basically any dry hopped sour they put out is a hit for me and I got to try this last batch of DN and really enjoyed it.

At the risk of derailing this enthrallingly original  "Is Grimm overrated/overpriced????" conversation that we have every other week....

Just cracked an Awoogah and I think this beer is fantastic. If you thought they'd fallen off lately this is definitely a bounce back.

awoogah is great, soft and pillowy mouthfeel with that grimm fruitiness. top notch.

Definitely liking Awoogah a lot. Can't wait for Tesseract and Cherry Raspberry Pop.

Echoing the past few posts. The mouthfeel on Awoogah is pretty amazing for a single IPA. Coats the tongue nice and stays there for a few seconds.

This Cube: Cuvee #2 is amazing. Would have loved to see this bottled!

Interesting. I did not like it at all. First Grimm beer I couldn't get down with. Certainly had a cocktail element to it, but also reminded me a lot of soap and was a bit harsh to drink.

Awoogah is great though, tangerine juiciness paired with a nice biscuity character.

Field Rotation is phenomenal too. Has a lot of layers of flavor and an intense tartness.

Also had Awoogah at the same spot and was really stoked on it. Such a good single IPA.

Splitting a bottle of Field Rotation with my cousin now actually watchinf the Jets in the lead and loving it. I love how its just a solid sour without any fruit element. Its got a little lemon going on but its not intense and goes with the funk of the ber real well.

Cans of Awoogah was at Astoria Bier and Cheese on Friday and it's still there as of an hour ago.

I gotta say. Out of the whole 4 pack I had of Lambo, this last can tasted the best. Not as malty, more juice. I'm kind of confused but this can tastes great.

Finally had an awoogah. I think it's the softest, easiest drinking of all the Grimm IPAs. Just enough candy sweetness but not in your face and balanced with hops that are also there but not overwhelming. Extremely easy to drink. I think I am starting to prefer the flavorful yet more subtle than the intense flavors that come with the juicy/candy bombs. Even some of my all time favorite beers I couldn't drink everyday because of the intensity of the flavor/hops, awoogah is definitely something I could have often (in a world where it would be available often).

209 Station still has Awooga, Pulse Wave, and Field Rotation. Jason's making some mean pumpkin soup, too.

Excited to hear Magnetic Compass is coming out again. Of their single IPAs, maybe it's my favorite or maybe Forcefield (2016).

I had Splish vs Captains Daughter. Defly can tell the two apart but not sure which one I would prefer.
