Another Gold for Melvin at GABF for fresh-hopped IPA. Had some at the festival and then promptly got back in line and had some more. Congrats, guys, on getting recognition for some killer beer!

I would also love to see Ruckus in cans for the winter time. (And as long as we're dreaming, wouldnt mind picking up a four-pack of Asterisk from the local liquor store. ) But looks like the next thing to pop up in cans will be Killer Bees:

What's up BAs, been off the forum for a while and recovering from an insanely fun week! To answer some questions:
We have talked about getting sexier glassware but we're still working out a lot of our merch agreements and beer production is at the top of our priorities and taking precedence over everything else right now.

All the Ruckus sent to CO was the base beer except for Bourbon BA Ruckus that we poured at WTF. Not sure why anyone listed it as Coffee Ruckus because it wasn't, which is probably why you were underwhelmed. If you taste Coffee Ruckus at Thai Me Up you'll see what it's all about. Doubt we will can Ruckus any time soon but as noted above, Bees cans are hitting CO now and * will be canned before the end of the year, kicking off the RIIPA series. Also, look for kegs of Dready Copper IRA and Scenario Robust Porter by the end of this month! Thanks again for all the love, the Melvin train is just starting to roll and will continue to gain momentum as you continue to support us.

Canned Killer Bees = gonna be a hell of a change up chugger during cold weather season. What's the planned ABV for it? The website gives a range for the draft one.

Chugged killer bees from the can while tooling around on the Melvin bus shooting off the tshirt cannon during GABF. What a time. I don't know how, but they managed to make that beer even better than recent kegs that were sent. Wu Tang!

Is there magic in canning? Often times the super fresh canned beers taste amazing.

Anyway, any new Melvin beers that hit our stores are also going to be hitting my fridge. I've got some extra room right now.

Completely agree! Somewhere buried in this thread I mentioned a work trip to Jackson. Had the opportunity to enjoy the coffee ruckus and was blown away. CO, that's the one we need to be begging for!

Blonde ale based on the label. Have one in the fridge to pop this weekend. Supposed to be warm so may be perfect.

Blonde Ale. Blonde and Golden Ales seem to be gaining momentum in the beer world.

I really enjoyed Killer bees. There was something just a bit odd about the flavor that I can't quite pinpoint, but it had some nice balance from what I am guessing are 'noble' hops. Anyway, the can I drank went down easy.

Going to Denver on Friday for 5 nights. What stores if any now would have any Melvin? Mr. Bs? Staying near the train station and won't have access to a car. Thanks!

Mr. B's almost definitely, Grapevine, Mile High, Argonaut, Small Batch... Melvin is all over Denver and lots of other places in the state as well. You should have no problem picking some up!
