More than likely, but it's hard to rule it out 100% right?

Add address to that list and force it to match your ID and then immediately delete anyone's entry that uses the same name and address twice. Problem of people using 50 email addresses solved.

That solves one issue... what about the guy that signs up every aunt, uncle, cousin, old little league teammate he can think of?

There will always be issues with signups, whether it be online or IRL.

Force the name to match. I dont know many people I could convince to attend a beer event for me.

I think you are underestimating the lengths some people go for beer releases. People were openly admitting they signed up 15+ people for the Ardea and Black Gold lotteries. What do you think Assassin/KBBS will be like? I'm hoping TG can throw in a wrinkle to prevent it from being like the CW lotteries. On site sign up would be great but Clark already said on twitter they will not be doing that.

Maybe they could just force everyone that wins the lottery to also wait outside in the cold for four hours before picking up bottles...just because. That would help thin out the masses of extra cousins, uncles, relatives, etc. :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though, I agree with you that some people are going to go to extremes to secure extra bottles and I'm not completely sure how a brewery can prevent that.

I just think if your entery has to match your ID and you only get one with Zero way to transfer there is little way to skirt the system. Like you said. Some people will force grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, ect to sign up but this should curb most of it.

Yup Term Oil is a draft only "experimental" beer. Heard this from the bar tender while sipping on VC Term Oil last week.

I assume the Friday release date is their defense against lottery mules and it's a pretty decent effort. Let's not pretend that new (or just disinterested in the big, expensive stouts) "local" people going to TG is an inherently troublesome result for TG's business.

You mean like the Chainsmoker release (minus the cold, thankfully)?

    Off topic slightly:
My initial thought when I heard about the Tsunami new formula and FL canning was that they had decided they couldn't dial in Florida Sue, so they rebranded it as Tsunami.
This is almost certainly not the case, but that was my first thought.

Add a charge for entering (say $5 – proceeds go to a worthy charity).

I like the idea...but it would disqualify myself, who bought a home this year and now have a different address than my ID....

That's what you get for skirting the rules, by moving to another house to have 2 addresses to enter in the lottery.

Just in case Clark or anyone else from TG is actually taking suggestions on how to do this KBBS/Assassin release, I bet Mr. Fielder is willing to give you some help. He graduated from one of Canada's top business schools with really good grades. I'm sure he could adopt the same methods as to how he helped this electronic store.
