Love badsdb but does anyone else get lots of vanilla and not much bourbon????

I just picked some up and saw that. It'll do, but now I have to do math and I hate math.

That's just what I got last year, both on tap & a sample out of the bottle. No bourbon at all (though it's good to hear the vanilla has shown up). When I had it at ABR a couple years ago it was fantastic, but last year - blah boring. I'll keep buying Black Butte XXVII. Awesome this year.

 

Not true coffee regular and barleywine

 

there's a lot coming. Surdyks and total wine are the too spots you wanna go if your looking for coffee and barley wine they have the most of those two.

 

4 bottles of BADSDB at Big Top Eagan as of about a half hour ago

 

Not sure where else to ask this, so I'll throw it in here. Has anyone noticed that some of the bottles of BADSDB purchased this year have 2016 on the side and some don't?

 

My 3 bottles have the 2016 stamping... the two I have left from last year have no stamping.

 

Me too, but a buddy of mine just picked up a few bottles that don't have the "2016" stamped on them. I bet Bent Paddle just had some bottles left over from last year.

 

Besides SLL has anyone seen any CS Hammer of the Beast? Preferably in the W or NW.

Anyone know when DSDB's gonna hit the Chan/Minnetonka area? Today, tomorrow, Friday?

 

I guess it depends what distribution area you are in. I heard from numerous people that think just the regular and barleywine are coming to MN. Can anyone confirm if there was another problem this year? I read somewhere that there were "off flavors" in some of the product, and yield would be low. Could just be speculation, and I can't find the source now.
