Last year's Hopsmack! had his signature as well, also in Red. Such a great beer!

 

Sorry I don't track this thread to check on what each batch does since I don't live in Iowa, but I thought it was noteworthy that it was so darned awful. And potentially this would steer other BA people clear of this inferior product.

 

If I avoided beers based on Beer Advocate threads then I doubt I would ever drink again. That's not to say that you shouldn't voice your opinion, just that it's rare not to have someone dislike a product (or a batch of that product).

Aw, c'mon, guys... that late, departed, and unmissed TG "appreciation" thread was full of "you people" (meant generically, not specifically to any one member) going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth about p'Sue in cans.

Any chance your dynamite insider knowledge of TG knows what happened to that batch? I mean, without Mike and all?
Anytime you say worst batch ever, hopefully you've had most of them. I have not, but I tend to shy away from using "worst ever" or similar unless I've had them all or close them all in the series.

 

On a side note, is there any chance that Hopsmack would still make it to the twin cities? Just wondering since it was popping up at a few places in Iowa.

To be fair, he did say worst batch HE'S ever had, so I guess it's possible he's only tasted a couple batches.

 

If you don't have it by now then it's prob not coming. Pretty sure Casanova has gotten some.

I assume it's a printed signature, as mine had it as well, but it sure didn't look like marker/pen. It should be right below the beer description on the side of the bottle.

 

Is it distributed?

 

Usually gets determined Monday after weekend sales finish, if I had to guess I bet it will see distro. Don't quote me on that though.

 

Seems to me like they've been distributing a shit load of beer lately. I'm OK with that. My wallet is not.

 

Apparently I've been missing a lot of the good TG distros in Wisconsin. Anyone have the hook up for info for the Madison area? I keep being told such-and-such was distro'd here after the fact, despite myself going to a lot of various shops throughout the week.

 

Was there a bad hop crop this year? I completely agree with you on the 10/26 Pseudo...same complaints with Surly Abrasive/Todd.
