He didn't sing all bottles but some of them! The two I picked up yesterday did not, not part of a label design but a cool touch that reassured me Mike was very proud of this beer.

My other bottles did not have his signature so I'm pretty sure these are not printed labels though could be wrong. I posted it on Twitter and unblocked you so feel free to check my post and see if the sigs match exactly, you've got me curious now :stuck_out_tongue:

Every bottle of Hopsmack at my local shop had a signature.

Unblocked from the site just now, only did it from Tweetbot before which can apparently set blocks on Twitter but not remove them. Sorry, thought I unblocked you many months back

Not really...it was just an honest question. Pseudo was amazing the first time I tried it and the last 4-pack I got was just decent. Todd is my favorite IPA, but the last batch I had was "only" really good.

Not trying to be an elitist or Too good for these delicious beers. I just thought it was possible that the ingredients going into the beer might explain why my favorite hop-centric beers are just "really good" right now, rather than being quite as amazing as I remembered.

Why is there such a herd of reverse snobbery in this forum with regards to legitimate criticism of some of the IPAs being produced?

YOU'LL TAKE THIS MEDIOCRE BATCH OF AN IPA YOU SOMETIMES LOVE AND YOU'LL LIKE IT, DAMMIT.

Having looked at the bottles more closely I agree it's a printed signature, was the difference between my bottles that had me thinking otherwise. The ones I had without must have just been an old label. Still a nice touch

So Mike doesn't love this beer and brewery as much as you thought he did?

Gotcha. Thought you were referring to the red signature on the label design, cheers!

Sosus and Hopsmack are great, but is TG's pricing on point with other lauded breweries like Russian River and Tree House? Just wondering.

TG SOSUS bombers normally sell for $10 for a single 22oz bottle.

If that was 4, 16oz cans, it would be $29 based on a $/oz calculation.

Treehouse Julius sells for $15 a 4 pack.

Treehouse Doppleganger DIPA on sale now is more comparable at $11 for 750ml (~25oz).

This is never a fair comparison. Bombers are almost always priced higher than 12 oz bottle or 12-16 oz cans on a per ounce basis.

Comparing the 16 oz cans of TG to Tree House, they are in-line with their pricing.

My one complaint on pricing is that Pseudo costs $2 more at the brewery than it does at retail outlets.
