Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

It was super hot fresh, and about four to six months in it mellowed tremendously.

I haven't tried a '16 yet but with higher abv I'm anticipating something similar.

 

Had a 15' BT a few weeks ago and thought it was better than I remembered, though last time I had BT was fresh and quite boozy. Drank a bit over half but still had to save the rest for the next day.

 

Awesome! I did the same thing on Thanksgiving. I also wanted to chime in that BT is a fantastic beer. But boy what a rough night I had. The hangover didn't even wait for the next morning. I was hurting by 10:00 that evening!

 

Heading to the OG Bruery tasting room if anyone wants access to the hoarders stuff. Be there in 10 minutes or so.

 

I just went back through my emails about last year's CYBEER Monday. They did a special society presale that opened at 3AM ET/12 AM PT Saturday AM. Then they did their regular sale starting around 1 PM ET/10 AM PT on Monday.

That sale list though, wow. Oude tart with boysenberries and freckle and mash & coconut, oh my. Wouldn't mind a bottle of decommission as well as the original chronology four pack.

 

Found you need to drink that over a whole day of football on Saturday or Sunday. Soloing it (or MW or anniversary beers) in less than 4 hours will make you hate yourself.

 

I definitely solo'd it in under 4 hours. It just tasted too damn good to stop or slow down. So yeah....I had a definite love/hate thing going on with myself there!



And I'll almost assuredly do it again next year.

 

Does anyone remember if all the cyber Monday/12 days of xmas appeared in the current allocations tab or just the beer tab

 

In previous years it was under the 'Beer' tab, I believe this year it's going to be under the 'Allocations' tab.

Good lineup, though not as many sours as I would have thought.

I solo virtually every bottle of BT I drink. I guess better tolerance? Or maybe more determination. Either way the only hangover that exists is if I follow it with another weekday beer.

 

Well, I'm glad I have a chance to buy more of my favorite beer, Madeira Sucre. Too bad I know it's going to be like $35.

Yes.

Me on the other hand could only afford one bottle of Bois Fume, and one bottle of Madeira Sucre.

 

my only incentive on that one is to keep it HS if they didn't let RS in on it
