Can anybody detail Rays Saturday release? I did the Discount route both Friday and Saturday, and am pleased with the result. I am just curious on allotments, bottles, wait times, time the first people were in like in, etc..

 

I didn't go for the release but from what I understand the first person got there ~5:30 and you had to be there by 7:30 to get any Bourbon County. They were giving tickets, depending on the type of ticket you either got 2 regular, 1 regular and 1 2015 regular or 1 regular and 1 variant.

I'm not sure what else they had to start, but I showed up at around 10, had BA Ten Fidy in the growler gallery then went to the store and was able to get So Happens It's Tuesday, a couple of Upland Sours, Old Stock Cellar Reserve and Greenflash Cellar 3. They still had 2013 and 2016 Dissident, some Tilquin, 9 Ladies Dancing and a few others that I can't remember anymore as well.

Woodman's Kenosha was on Black Friday at 1 if I heard correctly. Whole Foods is still a mystery in Milwaukee.

 

First person got there around 2:30 AM but everything else is accurate. They had a ton of Tilquin, some Black Note, BB Narwhal, Koz, BA Ten Fidy, both of the new Baptists, Abraxas, and others I'm forgetting. It was all mostly one per person and you could get whatever you wanted as long as it was there.

 

Does anyone at all have any info on availability remaining on DB Baptist and Baptista? Or is it all gone by now??

A little birdie told me the distributor may be lifting allocations on those beers so you may want to make some phone calls next week...

Found a case of Goose Island Bourbon County at Sams Club in Madison $7.50/bottle, still 1/2 a case left.

Did anyone attend the Champps event last weekend in Brookfield? They tapped a keg of Assassin, I'm surprised more people weren't talking about it.

Anyone know/hear if Bruno's in Lake Geneva has any Boubon County left? I know last year that had a decent amount available well after the original release. Thanks.

Yes they did. We had to leave before it was tapped but it was there along with the TG crew.

 

Woodmans in kenosha has a boat load of CW bourbon barrel stout, no limit. They also had zombie dust behind the counter.
