SE Wisconsin Bottle Hunt

I'm headed to downtown MKE this weekend. Any stores there that are a must go to?

 

Not downtown. Where are you coming from? Two best bottle shops are Discount Liquor on Oklahoma and Ray's on North Avenue in Wauwatosa. There is pretty much nothing of note downtown as far as bottle shops go.

 

From Madison. I'm not heading downtown just to peruse bottle shops, I just figured if there were some nice places within 15 minutes drive I might as well hit them up. I'll be staying near the airport for the weekend.

 

You say you're staying near the airport, so I'd say the best bets would both be on Howell. To the north of the airport is Avenue Liquor which I honestly haven't been to in years, so don't know. To the south of the airport on Howell is Woodman's which gets damn near everything. Both are within 15 minutes of the airport.
EDIT: There's also Gary's on Howell and Hwy 100.

To be honest, your best bets would be hitting Total Wine in Brookfield, Ray's in Wauwatosa, or Discount Liquor on your way in or out of town.

I would imagine it would be for accounts that couldn't receive it initially.

Here's an odd question: Does anyone know of any New Glarus Staghorn or Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest that are still hanging around anywhere? Would love another 6er of either if it's not already too late.

Anyone pick up MKE gin barrel o-gii? I opened a bottle last night and the carbonation was way off, hoping it was just that one isolated bottle.

It is a fact because my parents were just there and called to tell me they are out of both. This was approximately 90 minutes after I called to confirm they had them.
Oh and minor point of clarification....I am clean shaven.
