Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

They are indeed 12 oz. bottles. From what I understand this is the reason it is so rare; Black note is a combination of their expedition and a cream stout (can't remember the specific beer). Apparently, the cream beer was largely infected, so they have been making more of it. As more is made they add it to the expedition and Black Note is being released in small batches. That is how I understand the situation at least.

Are most places selling Black Note as singles, 2 pp, etc?

 

Probably singles, we have very very little here for this batch.

Rochester got 1 case of Black Note and 2 cases of High Westified. The only place selling BN was doing 2 pp. I'm hopeful we get Tweak.

 

Sorry if I missed it but im going to be doing black note hunting after work - has it come and gone at SLL already? Is there anywhere in the metro not yet received? I know elevated is usually delayed

Yes - talked with the guy on the floor at SLL last night and he said it came in yesterday morning and was gone in 30 minutes.

Went in there last night looking for the same, had to settle with a four pack of CW BBS, a few bombers of Pink Hop Lab and a Bent Paddle Climate Black IPA.. place was stocked!!

Hennepin Lake Liquors received a case of Bell's BN and High-Westified, which they opened about 2 hrs ago when I was there. $14.49 for 6-pack of Westy and $24.49 for 4-pack of BN. No individual bottle sales.

 

Thanks for the head's up. I called 15 minutes ago and they said they had a couple BN, and I bought one just now so not sure what's left. They have to grab it from back. No High West, though.

 

Any Lagunitas High West in the West Metro?

 

A place in Mankato got a bunch of Tweak, so it's definitely hitting the southern part of the state.
