Is there an email list that us commoners can join to find out more
Oh sweet lord, that's just in spitting distance from my work...well, about a mile, but still!

I have a feeling that Hermosillo will still be their unofficial taproom, or at least I hope so.

Have they mentioned a possible opening date for the Chinatown property?

Someone just told me there might be some cans of an IPA coming along the same day as pickups for the regular GJG. ;-)

Given the stage they are in, I wouldn't expect it to be open till next fall at the earliest. But hey, things may move faster than expect, but just expect it to be a bit of time down the line in 2017.

Well, that was easy. Is the hype not real for this delicious beer? Not that I take issue with having no problems easily grabbing the beer, of course.

The hype for HPB stuff has been really muted. Which is fine with me as they are pretty successful enough to be expanding, but not blown up to the point where it's impossible to get their beer. About 650 bottles of this stuff as well at 2pp means it'll last a bit.

Holy shit I totally forgot. Glad the hype was quiet on this. Was able to get my two an hour after it posted

HPB still limit proxies to one PP? I thought I remembered this in the past but dont see that mentioned in the sale details. Turns out ill be headed down there trying to figure out if I can pick up for 3 of my buddies or if they should hang on to the shipping options they have arranged.

Proxy limits are on a release by release basis. I don't see any info for GJG so it's probably not an issue. They're doing this all online now, though, no paper printouts, so you do have to have your buddies transfer their tickets to you before pickup.

I don't know about that, but I'd say that it's gotta be at least twice that big...

    incoming can release.

We'll be selling Cloud Party Double IPA cans (8.3% abv. Galaxy and Citra hops) this coming Friday, January 6th starting around 2pm. They are $18/4 pack (four 4-pack limit). The sale will be in the back of our parking lot (5125 York Blvd. LA, CA 90042) by the brewery.

A little bit about this beer:
Cloud Party is a hazy double IPA with huge citrus, papaya, and melon driven aromas. We used Simpsons Golden Promise, unmalted wheat, and oats to soften the palate for a nice round mouthfeel. Citra and Galaxy hops were used at about 4.5 lbs per bbl to impart big orange julius, tropical fruit, grapefruit, and melon flavors.

Was planning on having lunch and picking up my GJG, might as well stay for the can release? Hopefully all the haze bros maxed out their CCs at other breweries this week.

HPB can releases are pretty smooth other than the one or two morons who start a line and drink out in the parking lot on a cooler solo pouring their teku glasses instead of getting pours inside in the comfort of a nice bar with food options. But I imagine it'll be much the same.

Besides, we all know Monkish is going to drop that second can of hazy beer on Friday to take away business from another SoCal brewery releasing a can. :stuck_out_tongue: So those haze bros will be torn on where to go and pick Monkish cause East Coasters don't know the wonders of HPB yet.
