Need some info guys. I have a buddy visiting family in Denver. He offered to pick up and ship me some goodies from the area. I live out on the east coast. So any brewery only or local distro recommendations would be great. He's in the Lakewood area. I like pretty much all styles. Cheers!

Anything Dry Dock, especially the Signature Series still on the shelves.

Several breweries have Crowler systems now too which might enable your friend to can up something fresh that is taproom only. I don't have a list but it's something he can keep an eye out for as an option.

If he's in Lakewood he should hit up Mile High Wine & Spirits for Colorado-only packaged distribution.

In no particular order (I'm obviously an IPA guy now):

    4 Noses
    Station 26
    Odd13
    Casey

Look for crowlers from Weldwerks in shops in the Denver area as well.

There are many others, but this would be a good start.

    I'll second Mile High.

They have Casey and Melvin. For stouts they should still have Liquid Brain.

Don't live in CO (I live in Utah), but I know a few good breweries out there that would be good to take back your way.

If you like experimental/sour brews, TRVE Brewing. They have other styles but those two are what they're known best for.

Oskar Blues has some very good, varied and we'll rounded offerings (Ten Fiddy, Old Chub to name two of many)

Epic (Utah based) has a second brewery and taproom in Denver.

Strange Craft has some good bombers available at the brewery and at local Denver liquor stores. I recommend Cherry Kriek and 1000 Barrel.

Also Strangely Epic is a great beer. Brewed by Strange Craft as well.

Their breakfast IPA is damned tasty, one of the few grapefruit IPA's that doesn't taste like a raddler.

Probably too late... but you want you some Melvin 2x4 or IPA.
