Still haven't run across it at my usual Carton spot in CNJ. Guessing they will be charging $16/4 though. Love that Carton dropped the price on these at the brewery. Need to get out there again.

Pretty standard for 16oz cans in NYC. And cheaper than last time SS Cream was available. Someone mentioned it's showing up because it was brewed at Two Roads.

$12 at the Brewery (which includes tax so it's really the equivalent of $11 retail).

Well they lowered it from $14 to $12. Augie said that's true lowest they could charge.

A little late but I swung in Thursday and picked up a 4pk IDIPA, two 4pk SuperEgo and Shipwreck because I'm shocked it's still available. There was also Irregular Coffee Corretto and Regular Coffee on tap so I grabbed a 32oz of that and MO'Dub for a friend.

There was a lot of SuperEgo. I would imagine it lasts Saturday even with a push before football.

IDIPA showing up in distribution. Gerards and Spirits in Point Pleasant has/had it. That was this afternoon. Not sure how much they got and didn't buy it since I got it at the brewery.

The trick is to be able to do this after drinking more than one Soopehrehgoypah.

Drinking Super is like drinking two or three beers at the same time both in terms of flavor profiles and alcohol content. It's the antithesis of Boat. With Super, drinking a single can is itself a session. To rework the old Schaefer jingle, it's the one IPA to have if you're only having one.

I was just thinking about this the other day. A four pack of SUPEREGOIPA contains ~14 standard drinks. That's crazy. I think the whole line of ID, EGO and SUPEREGO is interesting, but ID is the only one I really have any interest in. IPAs above ~8.0% don't do anything for me.

So can anyone confirm that the answer to this is no longer "yes"? I live in Monmouth County so I have easy access to Carton stuff if that makes a difference. It sounds like "ideally" I should be able to get it whenever I want, but I don't know what that actually means. Can I really get it whenever I want?

SS Cream was crazy around $20, I am still guilty of buying a 4 pack because a friend wanted to split it, I know whole foods doesnt price gauge so $17 may be retail, I could see the fancy pants shops charging over 5 a can, but nyc has a lot of smaller distribution centers where you might find it for around 14 plus tax, interesting point about it being in nyc through two roads distro., Im guessing SS cream hit nyc through barriers distro

Carton cans were all over Brooklyn today. Big stacks of Id in Gowanus WF next to the Grimm stuff and I saw a guy sipping one at Bar Great Harry. 2017 <3

Haven’t seen much feedback on here, so I guess I’ll be the chap who takes some heat:

I was NOT fortunate enough to have the second batch, in the early onset of 2016. However, I remember the first time having IDIPA back in 2015: perfect execution of a pungent, dank, IPA. And that was it.

Now, close to a year and a half from the first batch, the recollection has been altered. IDIPA seems to be more sweet and malty; with a more tropical presence. It seems more engineered, refined and transparent. This is all fine, and it’s every aspect one would aspire for in a traditional IPA. However, what set IDIPA apart from the others was its grass: it’s crisply carbonated chewy DANK note.

Like I said, I’ve only had the first iteration, and the most recent. So, a comparison like the above is irrational…anyone on hear had all three batches? A simple yes answer, and it taste exactly the same, would suffice -

I'm not sure about all that but I do think this batch is not quite as dank as I remember.
