Sunday morning stout

I feel like you could copy + paste this to just about any "special release" nowadays. Whatever you think about the hype surrounding SMS, it hasn't reached PTY, KBS, or Dinner levels by a long shot.

 

If anyone in Philly area is still looking for a case, Moore Beverage in south philly just got some in as of this morning, $89.99 per.

 

Probably not, unless you had a kid at the Rainbow Academy in 2006-2007. I was only there from 2005-2008. I worked in the City, and with an infant turned toddler, had no involvement in the community.

 

If your in NJ and still lookign for this, Shrewsbury Wine and Liquors has this available for growler fill ups right now!

 

Did you notice if they had any bottles as well?

 

Canal's Lawrenceville has stacks of cases at 2 pack limit.

I'm on a mailing list and didnt actually go into the store, however they typically only have growler fill stuff, and a very limited selection of bottles. Doubt it but not sure!

 

Local place now has it for the bargain price of $17 for a 32oz growler fill.

 

It's back! It just hit the shelves near me in the greater Harrisburg area.

That is odd. I'll report back after I pick it up from the distributor tonight or tomorrow.

Edit to add that I put in a request for this and received notification this afternoon that SMS was in, but I haven't made it there yet.

 

Doubt this very much. They said 12 bottle limit starting Feb.12. Brewery only

 

Doubt that it is brewery only, it is on their seasonal release calendar.

False alarm. The distributor mixed up Sunday Morning with Sunday Mole Stout.

 

No, I meant that it starts at the brewery on 2/12. I'm sure it will be distributed too but in much more limited quantities than past years. Also 12.7 ABV this year.

 

Why would they distribute it in more limited quantities?

 

Just assuming. Why would they limit it to 12 bottles at the release when they sold full cases last year.

 

could be just putting more out in to distribution and selling less at the brewery. the new laws may play a role here who knows, though? all assumptions at this point. i expect to see a similar amount released (based on nothing).
