Sunday morning stout

Based on Weyerbacher's history of infected beers, is they put out considerably less of their most popular beer, I would be pretty skeptical of the quality of that beer.

 

Sounds like it should hit stores about the same time. From FB:

Weyerbacher Brewing We'll be shipping before then so it should be available in stores around that date as well depending on your location.

Did they say they are putting out less?

They could just be putting more into distribution vs. selling at brewery.

 

That's all it sounds like to me. Heck, it could simply be that they want to spread the bottles out to more people. Last year there was a line of people all buying cases and they eventually sold out of SMS at the brewery release but bottles were available on shelves in the area for weeks. I'm pretty sure the majority went out to distribution and I don't think the lower limit at the brewery necessarily means they produced much less than last year.

 

Saw some stores in Penn are starting to see distro already.

That's kinda odd that Weyerbacher isn't releasing at the brewery until February 12th, but already shipped out to distribution 3 weeks earlier.

14.49 at abc tampa and im into 2nd 4 pack already and feel its not as good as years past.....it could be all the angry chair, ccb, and cycle stouts ive been drinking but I may pass in future unless my cellar is empty!

 

Picked it up last week at Gerards in Point Pleasant so it's around already. Not sure how much they got but were doing 4pks so I'm guessing a few cases at least.

 

Joe Canals woodbridge still had about 15 cases at 6pm

 

one of my co-workers hit Weyerbacher brewery this past weekend and brought a growler of Sunday Morning Sex into the office,which is a beefed up version of SMS..fantastic stuff!

 

They still have a buch of 4 packs left. I went this past weekend and casually picked 1 up. Was surprised to see so many just sitting there in the store.
