I show up ~30 mins early every year and I'm inside drinking beer less than 5 mins after the doors open. If you show up 2 hours early, you'll beat me inside by 4 mins. If you show up 10 mins after doors open, you'll get you first beer 2 mins later. Basically, the line flies and there's little need to show up crazy early.

The last couple years we've shown up 45-60 min early and by the time we get our glasses and onto the fest floor, the first people in line are already on their 2nd or 3rd pour. Those are the people who don't want to wait in line for the big beers (Good Morning, etc...) or want to tick a few of them before everyone gets inside and the lines go from 3-minutes to 10+ minutes.

With that said, arriving 30 minutes early will get you in 5-10 minutes after open. Definitely fine!

Anyone have any insight on whether Row 34 on Friday night would be tapping some good stuff?

    Hello,

Does anyone know if the floor map has been posted? I didn't see it, but maybe I just missed it.

I can confirm that we've arranged for another coat check this year.

Two years ago I was there 1 hr prior. Was able to knock off 3 big time beers that all ran our within 1 hr. On my 3rd beer with people still coming into the building.

Last year, I was :35 early. Prob 225-250 people in front of us in the line. The Treehouse line was prob 100 people long when we walked in, which worked great for us. Knocked off everything from Kane and Prairie within 10 minutes while people in the TH line had yet to have their first beer.

I think you NEED to be in line no less than :30 prior. But getting there 1 hr or more before it starts is really not necessary unless there is a beer you HAVE to have. So many good beers all the way around.

Treehouse is a phenomenon none of us fully expected. They have always been busy in the past, but we had to stop people from literally RUNNING over to that station last year. It's partially funny because there were so many other GREAT beers there from known and unknown brewers. Don't overlook a beer because it's not made by a brewer you've heard all the hype around.

@Todd any update on the Bros/DFH collab yet :grinning:

Are backpacks allowed inside, and if not, could they be dropped at the coat check?

Small ones generally are, but ultimately it's up to security. And I believe that you should be able to coat check it, but I'll check.

Got a question for the organizers. I received 2 tickets as an XMas gift and now life appears to be getting in the way of my attending the event. Why is it not allowed to resell (at face value) the tickets to someone who is interested and can attend? Is this simply worry over inauthentic tickets being transferred and you guys don't want any part in the responsibilities and potential pitfalls of that? Thank you.

You can do it freely as Todd already indicated, but BA can't be responsible for tickets acquired via 3rd party because they have no control over the handling. In theory someone could sell the same pair of tickets multiple times BA can't control chain of custody outside of first sale via Eventbrite

Was Zombie Dust removed from the 3 Floyd's lineup? I recall seeing that on there before, and was looking forward to finally getting to try it.
