Thanks. I ended up making it out there today because I'm unsure if my schedule will allow me to visit during future releases. Got some taster pours of Mosaic Crush, Hermit, Zulu Haze, Trumpkin Head, and their imp stout. Everything was pretty solid but I was pretty blown away by Mosaic Crush. If I didn't already have so much beer in my fridge, I would have gotten a full allocation. I'll open up a can of Dojo tonight.

    Did a sharing!

Mosaic Crush is really flavorful for a pale, although I feel like I'm not getting enough of the Mosaic hop notes coming through. Maybe it's too fresh? I was given a couple of cans so I'll see how it develops!

The Hermit is still tasting really good!

Dojo does taste too fresh. It hasn't fully come together yet, and is a little disjointed and bitter. I'm sure it'll mellow out in a couple weeks.

The others are not Sac/Rocklin/Auburn, so I won't discuss here, but let's just say it was quite the enjoyable tasting.

The DOJOs were gone by Saturday on day 2. That one is really getting popular around here.

The YOJO release on Feb 3rd is going to be a big one. Hopefully they up their production. But really Moonraker is such a tiny place, not sure if they can.

Quite the Political Firestorm in the Sacramento Beer Scene yesterday.

The owner of 12 Rounds Brewery made some Political Posts on his Personal Facebook Page. It went viral. It was shared all over town. Possible boycotts. It even ended up in the Sacramento Bee newspaper and all the local TV stations. 12 Rounds came out with several apologies, but the horse was already way out of the barn.

Hey guys. I'm local to downtown Sac and looking for people to carpool with to moonraker if anyone is interested. I'm always looking for new people to share driving duties with.

I'm also looking for people to bottle share with in Sacramento. Hit me up if interested.

Just saw an update from Moonraker. If you want Yojo cans, you better be there Friday 2/3. These are not going to last into Saturday.

"We are a small brewery and will only have about 180 cases of Yojo and 100 cases of Citra. Dojo was sold in 1 day with the same limits."

Yojo is Three 4-packs per person.

Yeah I saw this. Also saw that they might knock it down to 3 4-packs of Yojo potentially! Anyways I'll be driving there from Sac early.

Moonraker just got an article in the Sacramento Bee newspaper. Recapping the ratebeer awards and also talking about the YOJO release on 2/3.

Also of note in the article is that they just bought their own canning line. It will go into use in March 2017. No more mobile canning needed.

They did mention they are about maxed out on production capacity. Also NO drastic expansion plans yet, like off-site production.

New can release from New Glory next Tuesday, 2/7/17:

Also, Mraz is releasing their first Barrel Room Member release this weekend, Spring Snow:

They are also bringing back batch 2 of Mrs. Kiwi and Mr. Nelson for Sac Beer Week this year. Can't wait for that one since it's one of my favorites they've done.

I will definitely be looking to try the new "New Glory" DIPA and Hazy PA.

They have had a good run on their can releases with Listen Up and Astro Haze a few months back.

Track 7 just announce a special can release for Friday. They go head to head with Moonraker. Also Fieldwork Sac Tap Room release.

Motherland Triple IPA. Also Double Dry Hopped LERE DIPA.

No. They did not release DDH LERE. They said it still wasn't ready and release will be pushed back again. Someone mentioned carbonation not there? Maybe in a week?

I was hoping to get at least a 4 pack of the DDH LERE also while I was there.
