Shouldn't they bring enough to last each session? Sounds like a lot of taps were kicked early.

We took a leisurely approach so missed out on a bunch of the heralded offers that ran out quick. Some of the short lines had some great pours though too: element, dogfish, night shift, and sierra Nevada.
The inside bathrooms had a bit of a line for the men after halftime, but the frozen portapotties were open.

Makes sense, just didn't see it promoted as starting earlier. Obviously listed on the site and tix, but fell into a routine of 1pm starts.

I couldn't agree more with the above with one exception. There were more places completely out that I can remember from past EBFs but it wasn't until like 8:30 - plenty of time to get a lot of great beers. Only Other Half was egregiously early; it seemed like they didn't know what they were getting themselves in to. I think by like 45 minutes in they only had 1 beer left and that was gone by 7ish.

I don't think this is correct. Funky Buddha had Last Buffalo for the better part of the first hour; if they did have *any* Last Snow (like the BA page said they would but kept switching) we didn't hear about it from anyone else (Or maybe it really was gone right away? Correct me if I'm wrong). On Pirate Paradise this is just wrong, we got a couple pours of this and Bible Belt well after 8pm. Only their Christmas was out by then.

The posts above on 3 Floyds aren't correct or at east not telling the whole story. Yes, Crack the Skye and BA Moloko were gone fairly early *because everyone was drinking them* but not as early as OH or Last Buffalo. They closed up at like 8, 8:30 but that was when several places tapped out. Rare Barrel was outstanding top to bottom and yes, they finished about the same time. Didn't mean we didn't get a couple pours from each - just get in line for these two and wait for the less well known places until the end.

Bottom line a great beer fest, lines moved quick even when long, well planned and executed!

I am almost certain the bottle they were pouring from was Pirate Paradise and lot of rum on the nose. Based on the check ins a lot of other folks seemed to thinks so too. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There was for sure no pirate paradise. It was regular paradise and they were very apologetic about not having it.

Might be a stupid question, but were any pretzel necklaces allowed in? I know it says no outside food, but I thought I remember last year still seeing people bringing them in? Thanks!

    Standouts for me:

Great Notion Blueberry Muffin, insane smell.
4 Hands Madagascar - Tasted like Antead, but better with no hype and lines.
Finback BA BQE - loved it, dry not sweet

And being able to get Trillium cans with no line and awesome food at Yankee Lobster makes the whole experience awesome!

Hats off to BA for a well run event.

I thought all of Tin Man's beers were fantastic. Such an awesome event, even if it's a mandatory 24 recovery period!

I dont remember which session I went to but TH ran out with at least an hour or two to go. Seemed like most of the highly sought after beers were kicked in the last hour last year whereas this year it seems like a lot of beer was kicked much sooner.

    Top 3 for me were:

    Great Notion Blueberry Muffin
    Funky Buddha Veruca Snozzberry Gose
Civil Society BA King Gary Goes Bananas

That Civil Society booth had barely any line all night long, and they brought the heat. Their entire lineup was a standout for me.

Agreed on Great Notion Blueberry Muffin, but the cuvee with Double Stack was even better.

7th Sun Pink Ballons might have been my favorite of the fest though. Other standouts:
    Breathe Boysenberry & Blueberry
    Rare Barrel There Are Rules
    4 Hands Madagascar
