Hoof Hearted Brewing (2017)

Any word on next week having a release? Will be passing through!

 

Just wanted to say that I am loving the "Cans only" line. Basically there is no line and you can get right in and out. It has made going out there so much better...only complaint is why it took this long.

Not sure if serious but I'll bite. Basically I'm of the mind that if I'd like to avoid waiting in lines as much as possible.

The lines at Hoof, since ticketing was enacted, were primarily due to people filling growlers (much longer to do this than buy cans or pour a pint for that matter). The employees were doing all they could to process everyone but growler fills were the bottleneck.

Thus the can only line helps everyone out by shortening the wait times especially for people that don't need growler and also for people that do. The whole wait time is much improved.

 

I was just thinking the Backstreet Boys would go over real well here

Anyway, can line was a long time coming, definitely makes things much more pleasant on busy releases.

 

So is it only cans, or can you get a draft pour too? I haven't been in a while by my big complaint used to be the lack of a draft only line. For those of us that don't just pick up and leave right away, it used to suck having to get back in line and wait 20-30 minutes just for a single draft pour. I know some people had success with just going right to the front and asking, but I was always denied the few times I tried.

 

3 lines: cans only on the left foldout table, cans draft and growlers in the two lines to the right leading up to the counter.

 

It is only cans but it helps lessen the lines for growler and draft pours as well. Lines I saw for draft and growlers were maybe five minutes long today when I was there at 2pm...so not long

 

Yeah, the new system is really nice and efficient. Also, I like the tent with the added propane heaters... nice touch! Although, we fed the fire more outside and managed around the fire pit haha. But a lot more seating and stuff since the last time we had been out (Cultrider?). Looking forward to when the new parking lot goes in next door, whenever that is.

Really liked I only smoke after sex... Been craving a smoked beer and that hit the spot. Probably one of my favorite stouts from them, as far as I could tell (have a cold at the moment...). Still was awesome though! As far as the beers released today, was too hard to tell with my cold, but I could at least notice EWS was quite a bit sweeter than Zipper Ripper haha

 

There's going to be a 1-year party at the brewpub the first Saturday in March. They're brewing a new TIPA (draft only) for it and it sounds great. Bet it'll be a blowout!

 

First release I have been to at Hoof and I had a good time. Line was non exsistent at 1:30pm when we got there. Everything looked organized. Pierogies were awesome, although I heard there was going to be tacos so my hopes were high, but the potato goodness filled the void. Mom Jeans on tap was good. Bummed I didn't snag a hat, next time. Also next time I hope I can convince friends to go down and do a share like I saw a few other groups doing.

 

We haven't shared there since they started with the tickets. But might make an exception if we can get some more newbies to go. Taco Tantos is no big deal IMO, there's one in Lakewood if you really wanna try em.

 

Just had their canned Nitro Coffee and it was really tasty! Didn't seem like it was nitro though.....

 

Yup... Double batch, too... Dual release, two times for the ticket release.

 

So any confirmation for this weekend?

 

Guy working the counter said it would not be this upcoming weekend.

 

My guess is since they've committed to bringing it to Huna day, they probably had to go out of their way to get the right hops and make it work. Gotta bring that Dong to Tampa.
