thankfully i quit drinking during the week because my kids dont sleep for shit.

 

gonna try that this week... except for the kids part

 

I'm 1 for 5 so far this week...let's see how things go with Juju dropping wednesday.

this would be week 3 of booze free monday-thursday. its not hard, just a different mentality to not grab a beer after long days at work.

I'm with you, no beer Monday-Tuesday. Sounds easy enough.

tough part for me is going to social events work related.. but a club and lime is a great hiding technique for me so far

 

If I'm reading that right, it seems we have the opposite problem: I hide my booze is coffee tumblers at work events!

Just a heads up that there will not be a CF LIF this year. Wife and I are in transition right now building a new home (one with a lot of built in benefits for the kids health so very exciting) and will not be able to organize the walk as we did last year. We greatly appreciate all the support in the past and my hope is to one day host an event to show that appreciation for those who can make it out this way. Thank you all and just wanted to give a heads up as this is usually the time I post the lif the last few years.

 

im sure we can still get some funds rolling in, right?

 

Are you still doing the walk? If so, post a link to it for donations. I've never won a box or even really expected to, but will certainly still contribute.

 

We organized our own separate walk last year and feel it would be a bit much on top of moving 2x and living with my mother in law for a few months once our current home sells. We may do the bike ride later in the year. We usually just pay that out of pocket though

No no idea rather we all get together for a few beers! Next year the CF Foundation will get all our monies again. Theye will be fine this year I'm sure.
