If anyone is there near close tonight and able to provide a can update, it'd be much appreciated.

Grabbed some Shredder cans at open and sat down for a few.

This batch of Shredder is incredible. One of my favorite beers of theirs and this batch is ridiculous.

Also tried Fake Love and that was also incredible. Probably my favorite IIPA of theirs honestly.

If every batch of MS was like this one I seriously doubt it would even make it through a Sunday.

Get ready for a $!?@show release this week.

    Releases for Tues., Feb 7th
    ________________________________________________________
Dusty Roadz is a special beer made for a special dude. One of our Co-founders Dustin Durrance kept telling our head brewer Matt that he wanted to see us brew a pale ale. Matt kept telling Dustin "nah". Then one day, Matt gave in to Dustin and said "yah"! This is our first ever "pale ale" and might be one of the only we brew. Dusty Roadz is a 5.2% heavily hopped/dry-hopped pale ale with a ton of Citra Lupulin Powder and the freshest Nelson we could find. We are THRILLED how this turned out. If low abv hoppy crushers are your jam, make sure to grab this one. Shooting for approx 110-130 cases. $14+tax/4-pack. 1-2 cases per person limit.

Never is the base beer for our beloved fruited gose series. This pleasantly 4.5% sour Gose has a beautifully balanced salinity from the addition of Pink Himalayan sea salt. Incredibly refreshing(if you're into that kind of stuff)! Shooting for approx 100-125 cases. $13+tax/4-pack. 1-2 cases per person limit.

Dirt Brothers is a true blend of two of our favorite DIPA recipes. We brewed a batch of Dirt Nap and a batch of Single Brothers and fermented them as one in a fermenter. A true kitchen sink of hops featuring Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, Nelson, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial. Clocking in at 8.8%, this DIPA is insane. Probably the most complex hop character in a beer we've ever released. Shooting for approx 195-215 cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 3-6x 4-packs per person limit.

Amun(aka the hidden one) is a collaboration with our dear friends at Omnipollo. Amun was dreamt up by Henok of Omnipollo and our head brewer Matt. They then brewed the first batch in Sweden. This is the US version of this awesome collab. Amun is an 8% DIPA brewed with a bunch of oat milk. Hopped intensely with Citra, Mosaic, and Nelson. This beer is insanely soft. One of the most drinkable DIPAs we've ever been a part of. The artwork from Karl Grandin is just insane too! Shooting for approx 225-240 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person limit.

    *LIMITS SUBJECT TO CHANGE*

We also made some very special glassware to commemorate this rad international collaboration(seen in the picture). It features the main imagery from the can on one side and both The Veil and Omnipollo's logo on the other side in actual gold print(please keep in mind that these cannot be put into a dishwasher; they must be hand washed). Less than 500 glasses available. 2x glasses per person limit. $10+tax per glass. Available only in our tasting room and will not be available online.

Sorry if off topic but I had my first can's from veil last night. The Blueberry and Passion
fruit gose's. The blueberry was good but the passion fruit was as memorable of a beer that I've drank. Consider me a fan.

So I'm driving in for Saturday's event. Any idea what kind of line might be expected before opening? If I show up at noon, will I be able to get in?

Last line update I saw posted from about 15mins was it's is not too bad (yet). Wrapped around to where the food truck usually parks so I'm guessing less than 40-50ish people in line as of 1:15pm or so.

I think people have figured out, even on collab days, not much point getting there that early. But on a day like this after 3PM there's a solid chance you'll miss out on something.

From the posts as of about 2:10pm reads like the line has left the parking lot, down the sidewalk and about to turn down Clay St. Roughly a little more than 100 people. I could see them adjust Dusty Roadz and Never to less than 1 case per based on how many people are there 2 hours ahead of opening. But then again they really only have 4 days to sell as much as they can this week.

I wonder, I've said that before and they haven't. They have to realize that releases like this have huge demand - I talked to a staff member last week who said this week would be crazy and confirmed omni collab and dirt brothers. Point being they know it'll be nuts when they say 1-2 cases and people lose their minds if they change it to less than a case (unless there's a yield or canning issue or something).

Unless they go below 3 on the collab and Dirt Brothers, I bet they sell out of everything today.

Final counts for today. Glad to see they decided to back down the limits a little bit based on the crowd. If any makes it past the day (not likely) then No Limits the rest of the week (through Friday)

All cans must be sold by the end of Friday's service, or they will roll over into the following Tuesday's can release. We will not be able to sell cans at any point over the weekend. There will be zero to go beers available from Trillium either. Any cans left from today's can release for tomorrow's opening will be set to NO LIMIT until SOLD OUT. Please keep this in mind.

Looking at the initial Amun check ins. This beer looks considerably different than the first Instagram announcement pick, no?

I showed up at around 5 and ended up bailing after waiting for 45 minutes or so. The line was absolutely crawling. Wish they could figure out a way to keep it moving faster.

I think it was the glasses today that slowed things down. It took a little longer for them to wrap and bag them. Amun is good, it reminds me a lot of a Tired Hands IPA, which makes sense since they brew with oats a lot. Dusty Roadz is awesome, I'm excited about that one. I passed on Never, its not bad but its pretty unremarkable and I figured I was buying enough beer today. Haven't tried Dirt Brothers yet.

Dusty was the one beer I did have while I was trying to wait it out. I agree that it was very good. Pale ales don't usually pack the same punch, but this was right up there with trillium's dry-hopped fort point IMO.

I arrived at 5:45 after stopping at TCB first to get some Green Dreams (fantastic beer BTW) and was shocked at the size of the line. Biggest I've ever seen at that time of day. Didn't get my beer until after 7 but at least everything was still available so I left happy. Based on what the guy said as we were entering the building and the size of the stack I saw, Dusty Roadz and glassware will be gone tonight, probably by 7:30. Decent stacks (maybe 50 cases?) of Dirt Brothers and Amun were left so they may make it to tomorrow. Probably Never too. Amun is solid but not nearly as good as Fake Love to my tastes. Dusty Roadz was on point and reminiscent of Trillium dry hopped FPPAs. Terrific beer and the reason I made the trip from NC.
