Bridgeport historically had a sizable population of Irish, Polish, Italian, Lithuanian, and Croatian immigrants throughout its history. I used to live in Bridgeport and its changed quite a bit from the old days, but you still see pockets.

Heinz has been aging its famous ketchup in Lea &Perrins Worcestershire barrels for years. I believe after the Kraft merger they just bottled their new Maxwell House coffee ketchup (not barrel aged, but also look for a Country Time Shandy ketchup). With their proposed Unilever purchase we can look forward to sweet Klondike ketchup, and Marmite ketchup should get everyone excited.

I'm not super sure about them sitting around. I heard they came to Binnys and some other locals, went in about 6pm and they (Famous Liqours) had some sitting out- about 8 bottles, no limit posted.

Seems to be popular enough that they might not stay past the weekend but are everywhere. Worst case you might be able to get both at the Dojo.

I decided to just skip it, I know I said experimental weird beers are cool and all but having to get 2 bottles for thier adveritised effect seems too much like an expesive gimmick to me. I also don't particulary care for mixed drinks.

For me, I kinda like beers that fit the roll of Wari, really pushing the boundries of brewing rather than trying to mimick a type of drink you can make at home.

Any High-Westified sightings in the northern burbs? I saw a pic from Capones FB page yesterday. Hoping the second drop finds its way up here this week.

Snagged the last 6-er at BG Binny's last week, but they only got a case. Not sure about anywhere else.

It really intrigues me, but I'm with you on the 2 bottle thing.

That being said, I'm planning on heading over to Maria's this weekend post Uppers and Downers, so hopefully they'll still have both.

If I want Prop 14 I'll just mix a can of coke syrup with a shot of everclear...

That's being generous. You might as well save your coke syrup money and eat a pile of dirt

Whoops! You are right, I was confusing it with Prop 15. Cinnamon and everclear for 14!
