I've got no issues with lawyers; I think like any other profession, there are some really good dudes and gals, and some huge pieces of shit.

However, if you're a lawyer and you're selling "lots" of beer on the side...I'm gonna give you a little less of a benefit of the doubt.

Plus it's illegal, right? DISBARRRRRRRED

I finally got a chance to have Madagascar tonight. Very nice flavor - I'm a bit sensitive to too much vanilla, and I didn't think this was too much. The body was a bit thin, though...just kind of died off on the tongue.

 

Sad.

 

Throwing in my support for the GOAT IPA. Speaking of the GOAT, did you happen to see the can that Sweetwater put out as payment for a bet?

 

Lol, who did they bet with in MA? Sam Adams? I hope Sweetwater loaded that beer with Falconer's Flights hops as a subtle dig...

 

I loved Phil Hartman. An underappreciated comedic genius for sure. Gone way too soon.

The beer temple had an event tonight for the release of pirate noir and some other praririe bottles listed as ???? Does anyone know what the mystery bottles were?

 

Quite a few people showed up, so they were doing 1 bottle per person of your choice. From what I recall, they had vanilla noir, coffee noir, pirate noir, apple brandy noir, pirate bomb, and barrel aged bible belt.

They were also giving out pours of pirate paradise (rum barrel aged imp stout w/ coconut and vanilla) which was one of the best tasting ba stouts I've had in a long time.

Grabbed a Pirate Noir myself.

 

Sounds like Prarie is in town for a few days as tomorrow at 5:00pm owners will be bringing a ton of good stuff to Villians.

 

Vanilla noir on tap is delicious

 

Apparently Prairie was pouring at Binny's LP last night, too.
