See the first post in the thread for more details.

Price is $14.99/4 pack minus what you paid for the ticket.

This isn't like going to Three Floyds, if that's a brewery you have experience with. It's a pole barn with brewing equipment in the rural outskirts. Unless they've called a food truck, there likely won't be more than Taco Tantos slinging food, which is a makeshift kitchen serving Americanized burritos and such. Hanging around in the parking lot drinking a brew is typical, but being in the middle of the country, food will likely run out early. Even on slow days I've seen Taco Tantos close up at 2PM, and that's with a 12PM opening. Usually when it's a busy day like this will be, I personally try to get in and out as fast as possible then head downtown Columbus for a true brewpub experience. Hoof has an actual brewpub in Cbus, but there are dozens of choices, many within walking distance of each other (with Wolf's Ridge, Elevator, and Seventh Son being within walking distance from Hoof, but you don't have to limit yourself to that neighborhood).

There might be a limited amount of other cans for sale and/or some coffee beans or swag, but unless stated on the ticket or the Facebook event post, you should expect there to be nothing else available besides Konkey.

I have been to four releases and definitely recommend going between 3-4. I literally walk up, grab a glass of whatever the release is, enjoy it, then grab my beer and leave. Hoof in Marengo is literally a garage with brewing equipment in it. It isn't flashy and not like any other brewery I have been too. Love the beer though. I like konkey but couldn't go this weekend. Maybe the anniversary party I'll make. Cheers.

Sorry to thread bomb here, Pittsburgh native, heading through Columbus to Cincy next week. Would love to get my hands on HH beer. I'm fine with growler or cans. Is it correct that cans can only be purchased at the brewery which is an hour north of Columbus? Assume I can get growler fills at the brewpub in Columbus? Any place else that sells or distributes cans? Thanks so much. Also, any reliable places to get Bodhi bottles?

Bodhi can be found at most Giant Eagles and Krogers nowadays.

The Marengo brewery is open only on Sundays with can releases. Facebook will have those dates. The brewpub occasionally has cans and is open Weds-Sun only. No guarantees on cans at that location, though.

Growlers are available at the brewpub. Cans are hard to find in distro and disappear quickly when they do.

Haven't been in a few months. I know there is a share area at the front but have they cracked down on line drinking? Can you bring a few beers and a cup and sip your own stuff while you wait in line or will they say something? I know wait times are gonna be bad tomorrow.

I've never seen them be super strict about it. I just got here and it looks like a share is happening.

Line is pretty long already and the lot is 3/4 full. For everyone- I would suggest coming later if your schedule permits.

Looks like no release next weekend, weekend after will be Wet When Slippery Passionfruit and Rose Gose, two weeks after that will be Roller Blabe and Did We Just Become Best Friends, forgot to ask which two hops will be in that though. I asked about dual releases and they said they will be shooting to have every release be a dual release going forward, so that people can bring home more beer each trip. Seems like a great idea for the people that have longer than a half hour drive. I wonder if that will mean a release every 2 weeks now instead of almost every week like they were doing before. I'll gladly take that.

Passionfruit... gotta be killer. Love the double releases.

Everything went smoothly today. Shoutout to that cans only line... I thought the line at the start spelled bad news, but I was out in 15-20mins.

Anyone know what the specifics are for the anniversary releases? Want to know if it will be worth going up to.

Sidepipin’ is also in the pipeline to be coming soon… Supposedly with a few changes they are really excited about (water and stuff).

Now I will admit, I was dreading this release given the huge ticket allotment and everything… Expecting a complete cluster. However, it was extremely smooth and I was impressed with how it all went down. No real lines at all, parking was smooth… Fantastic time. Props to the entire Hoof staff… They were in the lot directing people when needed (which never filled up to 100%) and updating on social media as needed… Was worried when we were 20-30mins out and the notice the lot was 75% full got me worried, but when we arrived it cleared out some already at 10:30am. I think they got the process narrowed down nicely for these releases, that can-only line helps a ton.

Spent the whole day of course camped out sharing beers and such, always a good time. The day was beautiful weather wise, can’t beat it in Feb!

Konkey was really good, solid batch. I think I like it more than the last canning run from what I remember. I will make my final assessment though when I crack open a can later this week!

The parking lot was full when I got there around 3. It was hard to find spots since people were setup all over the parking lot and you couldn't drive through to the far end near the barn.

Nothing on social media. Crossing my fingers for a ticketed release instead of the line-cutting shitshow that happened during the 1st Miracle Toast run. The brewpub just isn't big enough to handle lines around the corner.

That would be nice. Holding out hope for ticketed because their Facebook post said first release at the brewpub. Maybe they just forgot to add the "ticketed" part.

So I cracked open another Konkey can today... Anybody else think it's tastes very much like King Julius? I mean, not trying to hype anything (to be honest I don't love King Julius), but it shares that orange creamsicle like note. Also seems a bit more sweet/creamy in the mouthfeel.

I remember past batches having more bright pineapple notes, but this time around, that creamy orange flavor profile is what dominates for me.

Still really good, just a bit different.

Looks like 4pm at the brewpub on March 4th. No word on tickets, despite everyone on social media asking about it. I would assume tickets just because the brewpub is probably doing brunch beforehand. I'm just hopeful that they will allow cans to-go with a ticketed release. Their artist is doing a DJ set and an art show there, too.

I can't imagine their capacity is any more than 200 people... no tickets no bueno.

Definitely more orange and creamier. I've never had the other beer, so I cannot say. This batch is definitely better than the last.

I've only had one can so far but it still tastes amazing to me. I've had the last 4-5 batches and I guess I don't have the best memory or palate, but I've yet to have a Konkey Dong that didn't impress me.
