Drank a can of TSM on the train to opening bash. I can see where people say its a bit green, but I think they are mistaking bitterness for a beer that needs more time. This beer definitely is more bitter than almost any other OH beer ive ever had, and honestly that is not a problem with me. I love a good bite with an IPA sometimes. I thought the beer was really good? Not top 10 but honestly not every beer has to be world class. I'll gladly slug down my remaining 11 cans:

Just had a can, it's good, but I definitely think it will be better in a few days.

Something's a bit off in Citra Motueka. There's that dark color, but also the can I'm drinking now has an overripe banana taste. Funky.

I drank my cans already but it did have a very weird color, tasted alright though.

Agreed...never seen a DIPA this dark in color. Tastes a little off...or at least I had much higher expectations for this double hop blend.

Citra + Motueka might not be amazing, but it's highly, highly unlikely it would be oxidized this quickly, particularly for a brewery that's seemingly never had an issue with oxidation. In regard to color, compare to anything by knee deep, double jack by FW, or most other dipas available at your local bottle shop.

Throw some mo isn't bad, but it compares unfavorably to recent releases, nummy, ddh broccoli, mylar, etc. If TSM had come out last summer, it would've been awesome, since then though too many similar and better beers have come out.

Shine a flashlight through the citra/mo. The color changes dramatically.

I saw C+M being poured in the OH taproom today. It was that dark orange/ brownish color. If they're still pouring it, Im confident it's free of defects...just not their prettiest offering.

It almost seems like Barrier released an Other Half beer and Other Half released a Barrier beer. I am NOT complaining though, love the bitterness with Throw Some Mo'. I was craving a nice bitter IPA for some time now. Yes, it's young tasting but in a week or two, this beer will be fabulous!

Haven't had the TSM yet, going to give it a few days. But, as expected and as always, DDH ACE is just fantastic

i wonder if they knew or intended for that color. my bro in law sent me a pic of C + M and it was more on the brown side then orange. i dont really care, as long as it tastes good but it would be cool if they specified how the beers should pour

Had C + M on draft at the brewery last Sunday, was phenomenal, no unusual color. Cracked a can a couple of days later, was brown. Had a growler fill from Sunday as well, popped that two nights ago and was also brown. Taste was great, no complaints, however the brownish sewer water appearance was quite unappetizing.

I hope these new 6.2%ers are a hint at things to come for the transition from winter to spring.

hopefully the 6.2%ers are good. IMO their best beers at are ~8% and up and they don't do sub 8% beers as well some of the other hyped places focusing on IPAs. Would love for that to change though.

Agreed. In my mind, an IPA ~6%-7%, is ideal but haven't seen OH do much of those.
