Boulder Beer Irish Blessing

Roast malt aroma reminiscent of fresh roasted coffee beans. Creamy, of course... it's nitro, medium feel and a clean finish to nothing. Flavor requires some warming. At first the beans are strong then, with warmth, the bitter chocolate, malt and even a Jameson's oak flavor is found.

Good afternoon, all! My friend and co-worker @Strike00 brought back this little gem from Texas: Saint Arnold Art Car IPA. This has a fantastic hop character despite the fact that I let it sit in the fridge for a couple of months. All of the piney bitterness and citrus goodness is still there, with a light malt backbone that balances it perfectly. A 7.1% ABV session IPA? Here you go!


Now I'm getting ready to play the Antiques Roadshow Drinking Game with a bottle of sherry. Every time one of the appraisers asks "Do you have any idea of its value?" or any variation thereof, I'm throwing back a shot of oak-aged Dry Sack. What could possibly go wrong?

Edit: I just received a letter informing me that my membership in Group f/64 has been terminated.

 

Well on to this...it's crappy. Would rather have the carbonation vs the nitro. No red velvet cake either. Chocolate is faintly there. Strike one on my singles I picked out.

 

What is up. I can't get enough of this. I've watched it start to finish about eight times today. How the fuck does this happen? It reminds me of the Miami - Ohio State championship game. The lessons I take away from this are that the Hollywood elite are some of the most incompetent people in the world and I am going to do everything in my power to never have to see either movie. Let's watch it again.
