Got one in the refirgerator. Thinking it is better to wait until tomorrow to have it as number one or two. Unless you convince me otherwise of course.

From your description it doesn't sound like a home run. Glad you're enjoying it though.

@Dragginballs76 has sent me some awesome Orpheus IPAs. Kinda jealous right now. Not sure why they do not distribute in the great state of Richmond,VA.

None of my business but I do worry when folks comment from a hospital. I pray that things are ok.

#2, this is barrel-aging at its finest. Magnificent beer, IMHO.

Sometimes I feel I let a beer cellar to long and wish I drank it earlier, but I love my cellar! Makes me sleep better at night, give it a try my friend.

It sounds like an awesome combo on paper. I'll let you know what I think of it when I try mine.

Picked this up a few weeks ago Genesee Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter. It reminds me of Southern Tier Salted Caramel but not as sweet.

That beer did not impress me either despite the good ratings.

Thanks. Looking at discharge tomorrow to her sister's house in nearby Summerville to continue recovery before heading back to Florida.

Good evening BA, hope everyone had a good Monday. Not too busy at work today. Today's reviews:

The Brewing Projekt / Mikkeller Eaux Henry Eaux Sally. This was delicious! Amazing head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Flavors of big lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus zest, and light pine hops; with moderate wheat/crackery malts; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium bodied with balanced bready/grainy wheat creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, zero hop astringency. Super bright/juicy hops with nice malt balance for the 4.6%. Very flavorful and refreshing, and never overly bitter or drying. 3.91

This was excellent. Amazing head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel, berry, light pepper, and pine hops; with honey, toasted bread, light caramel malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied; balanced sticky/resin/rindy hops and bready/grainy creaminess in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin/rind dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very juicy, fruity, and dank hop flavors; fairly hefty malt backbone but not overly sweet either. Really nice balance, very drinkable, no warming for 9%. 4.03

Imperial altbier. This was awesome! Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nutty, and light roast/toffee malts; with moderate herbal, woody, peppery hops; with light notes raisin, plum, fig, apple yeast fruits. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied and very creamy/bready/grainy in the mouthfeel; light silky/slickness, chalky roast, and sticky hops as well. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Super rich and complex on malts; very smooth and mildly warming 10.3%. This kind of feels like a cross between English Barleywine and Doppelbock. Loved it. 4.1

I would be the opposite. It would call to me in my sleep. I'm the kind of guy that reads the spoilers to movies before I see them. I have no patience.

Took the day off for some dental work, worked out well; had to scramble to fill out an application for this property we are trying to buy, we are still in the hunt! Had a great hike back in Arkansas, saw 6 deer together on the trail. Southern Tier Nu Skool IPA up first.
