    My 2nd Cellarmaker beer of today. This is my last bottle, dated 1/11.

    Although this batch of Double Dobis wasn't the juicy-hazy style of the original bottling last year, it had enough bright juicy notes to tickle the taste buds. But now that it's about 6 - 7 weeks old, the Citra qualities have diminished and what I taste more now is sweeter malt and booziness.

    Oh well, definitely past its prime but... I have 3 bottles of the Cellarmaker / Other Half / Trillium collaboration that I'll start digging into later in the week

    We still shot 32% overall - which isn't going to do it going forward, even if our D is on. Nice to get a split with you guys, but the real season starts next week. Cheers and go UVa!

    Sorry traders but this one is gonna be included in the next few boxes. It actually is pretty good. And yes, it is a VA brewed beer!!!!!!

    Actually, I do not trade. I just try in some small way to repay BAers that send me great quantities of really good beer. I sometimes feel overwhelmed. And very thankful.

    Would have loved to have been at this game! Best part was the first baseman saying he had 15-20 pounds of hot dogs thrown at him...and an empty gallon of thunderbird wine. How the shit do you sneak a gallon jug of wine into a baseball game :astonished:

    Moderate pour yields a one inch tan head over a dark brown body with nice lacing. Wonderful nose of bourbon, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and vanilla. Taste follows to a "T." Very nice feel on this and overall, so glad I opened this tonight when I did as it paired magnificently with my chili! Cheers!
