What beer are you drinking now? #1591

Well well well, lookie what the cat dragged in....A 2013 yummy aged Founders Porter and a little Connecticut wrapped CLE action.




Might be a little dust on the bottle, but that sweet porter comes through with a slight tang from aging.

 

I only bought a single of this, as I enjoy it but won't chase it. But then a friend gave me two, and well, I wasn't going to be rude

 

It's been awhile since I've enjoyed this one- Old Rasputin

2015 Cascade Apricot

 

Sitting at my dad's desk at my parent's house. Tough day today. It will get better. This beer is helping, and it's a new beer.

This beer pours a light golden color. The head is white, frothy, 1 finger. Noce carbonation in the beer. The nose is got a nice smoke aroma, but it isn't overpowering. The taste is smoke, then a bit of sweetness, then more smoke. Somewhat watery feeling. Overall, ok, but of all I've had from them, the weakest of the bunch.

My bad. It was bound to happen eventually. I do tend to assume I'm always talking to a dude on here. Jim Palmer would be very disappointed in me I'm sure.

 

A bit past the best-by (12/21/16), 'cause I misread the tiny,tiny print , but still good. @ $6/6, can't complain. Cheers!
