    Insel Brauerei Überseehopfen - Neuseeland. Never tried or seen this before. And an IPA from Germany can make one curious. Learned that they did very well on the World Beer Awards 2016. Their Überseehopfen - Japan even was awarded World's Best IPA 2016.

    I awoke from my nap yesterday to a mystery box from Vermont. A shot out of the blue from @jhavs that also included some 'hitchhiker' brews from @WesMantooth as well. I thought I was dreaming! Thanks Jon and Corey for the awesome surprise.:slight_smile: This Foley Brothers Prospect is some special sauce.

    Foothill Brewing Sexual Chocolate on tap, accompanied with a lamb gyro and beets with goat cheese, enjoyed at Oval Park Grille in Durham NC. I could eat/drink this every day.

    Enjoying a Bell's Porter while I watch the squirrels finally figure out how to access the newly positioned bird feeder. They always seem to eventually. Cheers all!

    Had this for the first time just the other day, and it blew me away. Had to buy a few more. Didn't last 5 minutes from when I walked in the door until I cracked it open. :slight_smile:

    Now, from last night: Beer'd beer dinner at the Malted Barley. Wonderful time all around. The beer highlights:

    DuClaw Hell on Wood. I always passed this over because I haven't had the best experience with DuClaw, but based on some reviews on here, I decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did! This is a damn good BBA Barleywine, especially at $17 bucks per six pack.

    I like it. On a really hot day this would be very nice. Could never replace brooklyn summer though as the seasonal.

    And a band from Brooklyn. A place close to the heart for me, Canarsie.
