LIF - Walk MS Raffle (DRAWING 4/16 - 13 Boxes, Clover, BA Abraxas)

As some of you may know, or could gather from my BA handle, I am a rugby guy. From player, to coach, to league administrator, I’ve been involved in the sport in and around Boston for 15 years running and have had the absolute pleasure to play alongside and against some amazing human beings who embody everything that is virtuous about this game I love.

It goes without saying that rugby can be a dangerous sport, and we all take a calculated amount of risk every time we step out onto the field. Serious injuries can and do occur from time to time, but that risk is what we signed on for when we lace up our boots. What we cannot ever prepare ourselves for is a completely unrelated diagnosis of a debilitating disease that changes our lives forever.

A college teammate of mine was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Mason has vowed to fight this disease and raise funds via Walk MS – Sacramento on April 16th, and I have decided to try and help with a LIF raffle here on BA. Donation deadline is Saturday, April 15th, and the drawing will take place on April 16th.

If you'd like to donate, please click on the link above. Every little bit counts, and for every $10 donated you will receive 1 entry into this raffle for one of these boxes. When you donate, please use your BA name, and shoot me a PM so I can keep track of everyone who’s kind enough to help out.

Last year we raised $2,885 for the cause, and it’s my goal to top that amount this year. It might be a stretch, but if we get over $4,000 I will add a FOURTH box from my cellar, and I promise that it’ll be something special. Some box details will be announced once we top $3k, and addition info released as it develops.
