Really excited for the Bayas bottles too!

The Saison de la Casa is outstanding on its own, throw some berries in the mix, yes please!

 

Has anyone tried Bayas yet? There is nothing posted here on BA, nor on any other beer rating sites.

Del Norte IPA

Del Norte is an unfiltered IPA brewed with Pale Malt, Flaked Oats, Wheat, and Barley. Dry-hopped early and heavily with Nelson, Citra, Equinox and Simcoe. Fermented with a blend of English yeast strains that compliment the tropical pungency of these hops! 16oz 7.4% abv

 

Bought mine. My trustee will be picking them up this weekend so hopefully I'll have them by the end of next week. Super excited!

 

Nightmares of can release lines flashed through my mind when Casa said cans were coming. The member online presale for cans is the best thing since sliced bread YESSSS!

 

honestly between mumford and noble (and maybe monkish) doing cans on sat even if they did in person i doubt there would be a crazy line

 

So cans are releasing Saturday? Just moved away but coming back down to get the rest of my stuff. Sounds like perfect timing... I hope

for those that went for the release last saturday, how was it?

 

The can ipa del Norte is phenomenal. The mixed berry saison bayas de la casa was equally as good! Release went smooth too, nice and easy

 

It was nice and smooth. I showed up at 11:30am - was about 10th in line. By noon, there was about 75 people there I believe. I was out by 12:15 with 2 4-packs and 2 full pours.

Del Norte was awesome, but Bayas was amazing. Just an amazing saison, mouth full of berries, and finished dry like a white wine. Great mouthfeel, incredible.

 

Glad to hear you guys liked the Bayas, I have heard mixed things so far.

I hear a lot of people that don't like Casa in general, I think they are crazy

 

I've been a member since they opened and really liked pretty much everything they've released. The only beer I didn't like was El Rio but I'm not a fan of Rye so I don't hold that against them.

I won't have my Bayas bottles until Monday but I'll definitely be cracking one soon after it gets here

 

Very much looking forward to the next releases. Pinot Saison DLC is gonna be nice and there's no way that adding Passion Fruit to Guayaba is going to make it anything but better. Oh ya and there's that canned DIPA that should be alright
