Apparently current estimate of 44 people in line now.

Forgot Rastal glass with Veil/Trillium logo at 700 and two per person. I would be shocked if cans sold out tonight given the limits. Over 600 people on a Tuesday is an insane number.

I think its fair to say that those 44 people are (some of) the ones who ruin things like this for everyone else.

Most recent post was line has now reached the sidewalk leaving the parking lot. Estimated 75 people with over 90 minutes before opening. Again, nothing to get alarmed about other than a nice wait. More time to enjoy pours in the lot once the doors open.

    I'd heartily agree.

I'll be in Richmond 3/18 if anyone is interested in grabbing an extra 4 pack of either or both. Can pay for it plus thank you beers or trade westbrook/heist.

A fairly accurate guesstimate of how far the line stretches as of a post 15 mins ago. I would say at least 150-175 people. Still no where near missing out on cans if you show up after opening.

Early reviews of Extreme Kreme are.......not great.

Yeah, buddy said it was a pretty harsh bitter finish.
Some of those pretrades might be disappointed.

The collab hype is pretty funny. Beer hype in general is pretty funny. Some of the best IPAs I have had have been from smaller breweries and I would choose them over TH or Alchemist.

There are a lot of people saying they couldn't even finish their pours.

Yeah, just had a pour. Tasty but strong lingering bitterness to it. The bitterness overrode it. Will get a 4 pack to see if a little age helps, but not 2 packs. Never Meant was good stuff.

Just picked up mine. They still had mugs and glasses. Out of shirts in 2XL and L.

If the reviews about Extra Kreme are right, I'm surprised Veil/Trillium went ahead and released it. I guess at this point it's not going to turn away any future customers given their track records, and that's a lot of profit to eat, but still . . .

im not getting any of the astringency/burn people are talking about with extra kreme cans. i think the beer is pretty good, but the label is dumb. i agree that veil still has QC issues/growing pains they need to sort out

There's a few people out there that didn't get the same taste as others. I'd give it a few days to sort out as other people get the chance to crack open a can or get some on tap. Others, like myself, figure it may be just a little too green and will let it sit a week or two before trying it again.

This is great to hear. I was talking with various people at the release and they said there have been discrepancies between the draft and canned beers before. I've never experienced it myself but I really hope the cans are better than the draft was.
