    @CoeurdeLion

    I'd agree with the list you had that dork is the best, but none of those beers fall into the top tier hoof offerings for me.

    Just happen to be visiting from Chicago for a bachelor party this weekend. Happy to secure a Blabe ticket! Is bottle sharing in line standard or prohibited?

    Hey everyone,

    The release is 12-5 on Sunday. If you have a ticket, can you show up any time during that period to get your cans or do you need to line up at 12? I'm assuming anytime between 12-5, I just didn't know if they start letting people get 2nd allottments if it's 3 or 4 pm.

    Anytime is ok to pick your allotment. You might have luck buying a second allotment at close, but I think it would depend on the release.

    Missed the memo, when did hoof switch from bpt to eventbrite?

    Had a similar experience. My brother and I wondered, from a business perspective at least, why they did not have a "flagship" brew on tap. I have had others ask for recommendations and always add a caveat related to the average HH brewpub offerings.

    Based on what you tried, I can understand being underwhelmed. Don't give up on them if you haven't tried Konkey, Blabe, SoE, Musk, Dragon... though. That being said, I always felt l the same way outside of those.

    Agree as well on the brewpub. Ironically enough, the one beer that absolutely blew me away when I went was... Fitness Freak... their stout, not one of their IPA's.

    With that said though, everything on draft was still really solid and the Musk cans I picked up to take home ended up being fantastic.

    Haven't been to the brew pub yet, but I think their NE IPA game is great. Have had a chance to try all the mainstays and think they are all outstanding. The Marengo location is fun though with the bottle share and the chill atmosphere. Will probably say dragonsaddle was my favorite beer followed by south of eleven. Hope to go through Columbus in the next couple months for a release and a brew pub experience.

    Teku glasses for Blabe and DWJBBF will be available at the release. Should be $15 apiece. I'm hoping they limit them to one per person... a while ago someone bought a whole case of the KD ones. :rolling_eyes:

    I'm liking how the Eventbrite tickets can be added to my iPhone wallet app. Maybe they'll make the switch for good...

    A case is stupid, no one needs that. Some people just can't restrain themselves--wonder how much buyer's remorse that kind of person goes through daily. However, going from a case to one glass is also extreme. 2 to 4 glasses would be more reasonable.

    Still falls in the lack of restraint category for me. Not worth the effort--don't think there's a market out there that's going to earn him his money back with any kind of worthwhile profit. If you have the kind of money to drop on that many glasses, you aren't actually hurting for the kind of money you might make off of them. It comes off as especially petty when the result is shutting out a bunch of people that actually attended in person.

    Yeah, I'd certainly agree that the guy buying a whole case of limited glassware anywhere is probably an a-hole, an idiot, or most likely both. Unfortunately those kind of folks make up a pretty good-sized chunk of the craft beer world.

    We're the KD glass the big wine goblet style one? I'm still mad I didn't by one for myself.

    The secondary market for beer (and to a lesser extent beer swag) is a pretty huge problem in the craft scene...
