Dangerous Man has crowlers of their Boysenberry Milkshake IPA. I wonder if there are limits.

I'm looking forward to people being as whiny and psychotic about Disgruntled as they are about Toppling Goliath.

The great thing about beer names with numbers is you can always change the number.

He was actually the exact opposite of selfish....most people from down here never get up that way, he picked up a big order and met people in the cities and distributed them basically at cost. So, there's that.

It was distributed across at least 25 different people, many of whom then took them to shares, opened them with other friends that either haven't had Disgruntled or can't get up there. Failing to see the problem here, but hey, keep working on that whiny entitled judgmental thing, that seems to be working out for ya. Also, SG isn't "limited", they keep making more. It's not like a small bottle count whale, it's a flagship that will continue to be around. People muling cans to the cities will help drive up demand and justify larger production, eventually helping MORE people get to try it in the long run. How bow dat?

Well, you're clearly part of the "crew," and as such benefited from those actions, so I get why you're having a hard time understanding. Why do the needs of his "crew" outweigh those of others?

Sharing is great, but sharing among just one's own group, isn't altruistic, it's taking care of one's own (of which one is a part of) at the expense of others.

Example, really wealthy group of industrialists buy up all the cigars, but they share them all with the members of their country club. Is that really sharing? Is that fair? Or is that just kind of douchey?

Like, I said, I won't haul my ass up that way (so it affects me not at all), but I think any one customer buying 75/100 of something is stupid and not cool.

And, I trim my beard every other day, and it is no where near my neck, thank you very much

I don't know, maybe I just don't get this whole "crew" lifestyle, ya know, being an out of touch 33 year old working in academia and all.

Sounds like all you clowns who are pissed of at what happened with Disgruntled have been told politely to...F OFF. I'd imagine it was a member here who posted a bunch of gibberish on the Disgruntled FB page.

Oh yea, here was the owner/head brewers response to you:

"Ya that douch bag wrote all over our wall bitching too. Id rather you guys got the beer any way. ** ***** has been way to good to us at disgruntled!!!"

    lol

I'm sure your lack of business will be missed since you don't want to chance it. Are you really not understanding that via muling, Disgruntled and other "greater MN" breweries are basically getting free distro to the Twin Cities, turning more people onto their product?

I'm pretty sure you don't realize how utterly ridiculous this statement is, including your knee-jerk comparison against the assumed evil wealthy country club members.

The one simple concept you are failing to grasp is that HE DID NOT BUY ALL OF IT.
So no, it wasn't at the expense of others.
    Yes, I am yelling.
No, I didn't get any of the 75 cans and I am fine with that.

A few points: a.) I did not buy one from him (had just bought one a couple days prior from somebody else). b.) he drove from even further BFE (up near the Canadian border). Would you do that for 12 cans? Of course not, he selflessly offered to bring down crowlers for anybody else that wanted them. Lots of people did. c.) The group in question is several hundred members, so all "crew" joking aside, this isn't like his group of 6 poker buddies or something, so let's just clear that up. d.) They are making new Stupid Good all the time, it's available as hell, on tap or in growlers, even if there is a finite amount of crowlers.

Oh good. Someone else who never posts adding a ton of value.

And since it seems to have touched some of you in the wrong place - I never knew there were so many feelings here - I humbly retract my "asshole" comment.

In almost a decade of chasing super good beers, I have seen this play out several times & the character buying a shit-ton of beer has NEVER done so altruistically. I assumed this was the case here as well, so my bad. But with the mind-numbing number of precedents, it seemed like a slam dunk there was something shady going on.
