I would suspect that a lot of people might feel this way. I am for sure one of those who like the barrel treatments over adjuncts. Port BT made me so happy when I saw it on the list as a beer for this year.

I feel you on this, but I honestly feel that CR is just simply better than BT.

    Come at me bro.

Yeah, you make a great point. I remember them pointing that out during the tour. They did buy out the yoga store , so they now have the whole building. Maybe down the road they'll get a line for the 375ml weekday stouts!

Maybe it's just me, but I dig the 500 ml format

I think 375 or 500 for the weekdays would be nice. I'm getting a backlog of the 750s because I don't want the agony of soloing one of them and they're often a bit much for the people who aren't into high ABV beers, so even sharing can be tough sometimes. I guess I need to find more people who like to get lit. I'm thinking there might be a correlation with people who like to sit in lawnchairs in random parking lots, so I might start there.

Maybe we should just all get together and have a weekday bottle share in The Bruery parking lot. I have tons of lawn chairs.

You know you don't have to solo a weekday beer in one night, right? I always pour myself a glass, then put a champagne stopper on it and have some more the next day, or even the day after that.

I find that the high ABV Bruery beers actually taste better on the 2nd and 3rd days.

I do agree that a 500ml bottle option would be rad, I think 330ml is too small.

Is there a particular brand/style of stopper you recommend? I don't "mind" soloing, but I'm intrigued by this idea as well!

Indeed. I have a few of those Bruery stoppers and I'm usually amazed at how well they work. I generally just don't want to drink BT for 4 days in a row til the bottle is finished either.

#LawnChairShare sounds like a great idea. If we drink enough verts we can go all WWF and start breaking the chairs over eachothers backs. Look out for the ring bell, it'll leave a mark.

The one I have I just got off amazon, it was fairly inexpensive if I remember correctly.

Any considerations to be mindful of in terms of them working with wax dipped bottles vs the capsuled bottles?

If they aren't online, they carry them at the tasting rooms.

They should get a mobile canning line in one day and can some BT or CR and then only offer it as a special HS release to test things out on how it goes over.

They're just your standard champagne stopper, you can get them for 5 bucks on Amazon or any liquor store.

You just have to clear the wax off under the lip of the bottle (I'm not sure what it's called) otherwise it won't grip correctly.

i actually leave the wax on, and let the stopper cut into it. much better than without wax
