That's very odd. Maybe it was a new person working the counter? Sometimes if the person is new, I have to explain it to them as to what I need. They'll ask another coworker and they show them where they are at. Sorry you have troubles.

How much do the shippers cost? Are they the Styrofoam ones, or the card board insides?

There's 3 layers of these cardboard support things to hold the bottles in place.

The 9 bottle shippers are pretty nice too, they're oriented differently, bottles lay on their sides:



Those molds lay on top of each other and each holds 3 bottles, you can kinda see where they fit.

Its funny that u think those boxes will stay upright during shipping. I move boxes for a living, if that box is gonna fit diagonally then im shoving it in like that. Gotta fill space my friend.
