I think this has been taken down from The Bruery's website. Apparently there is news coming out tomorrow about the above????

As long as they keep the rule that a PS can't look a Hoarder in the eye, I'm ok with it.

When did that start? When I was out there for the BT release party they said they couldn't do it because they don't have a POS.

They're also double thickness cardboard so they compensate for the lack of styro insulation and are a bit more rigid on the outside. I once built Frankenstein's shipper using a styro shipper insert and the new Bruery shipper box. It squeaked like a sonofabitch until I put a bunch of plastic bags around the outside and around the bottles to act as a buffer.

Once I finish this glass I will also be out of Imperial Tart of Darkness. I still have three M15s to play roulette with since the first few were good but the last one i had was sour.

I'm also a sad panda that I can't take advantage of my taxpayer sponsored free one way ticket to hit the Anniversary party since I'll be in the middle of some training.

    Yeah... I guess.

I was online and saw a page on Bruery's website for Offshoot Beer Co. where you could lock in an opportunity by 4/9 to _____? I can't find that page any more.

I also asked someone at the Bruery about it and they were a bit confused about where I saw the info. They said that more information would be released today... April 1 aka April Fools Days.

P.S. Dude who was in the Perry Jersey at the fulfillment center... What are you doing with all of that beer you picked up? I felt like a peasant picking up 4 bottles as I watched you haul off enough beer to intoxicate the entire State of California.

Probably my trustee, picking up 9 months worth of purchases for me last night -- 18 cases.

...although it might well have been the trustee for @RDMII picking up one month of bottles for him.

Thought the Offshoot thing could've been an April's Fools Joke. But... looks pretty legit. Smart to have seven-day windows for pick-up and online sales (despite the fact that it pretty much eliminates the chance I'll be able to grab any).

Offshoot email doesn't specifically say no shipping, so I'm asking for clarification @BruerJoel

We won't be shipping initially, but hope to add a shipping option in the future. We still need to figure out packaging / cold packs to ensure the beer is kept cold during transit.

I'm really skeptical. 364 other days I would be less so

If so, they sure put a lot of work into it. That blog post was longer than most of my college papers.

im on the same page as u, i mean they have gone quite a long way to make it seem legit. If it were any other day of the year id probably believe it but april fools day not so much. Especially with the beer names being things like perjury and out of context.

Not too elaborate. Its not like they went and got an ABC License for this new entity.

They did set up a new website. Artwork design of the cans, etc...

Lot more work than I put into my pranks

A website, facebook, twitter, instagram, and untappd. Super long and detailed blog post. Can designs. 3 beers on tap at the brewery; along with merch. PLUS patrick posting on here....very elaborate plan. Lol. Whether it's real or not, you can't help but respect the time and effort they put into it.

I've found perhaps the most boring proof that this is real (though I don't blame you if you don't believe me!). Take a look at https://efbn.ocgov.com/eFBNweb/Default.aspx , type Offshoot in the Business Name field and search. We'd have to be extremely detail oriented to file a fictitious business name for our April Fools Joke!

    Cheers,
