Joel, while I'm super stoked for this, HORRIBLE day to release a new brand. I still don't know if I believe it lol

Guys, its 100% legit. They took an actual trademark out on it. No one goes down a legal path like that if it isn't real.

 

The best April Fool Joke would be a fake new beer company and to have the tasting room actually be serving Zombie Dust and Heady Topper...

 

Other than the new arbre beers, this looks like the other 3 being released Monday

 

i have to say that i am pretty excited to see how the new ipas from offshoot are

 

I only had six cases this month. I know, slow month.

 

The description on griffon says it has less carbonation than they wanted

 

Wasn't that the case with the original batch back in 2013? Regardless, I snagged a bottle and it was delicious.

 

We'll have to change that description. I'm just about 100% positive there's no carbonation issue with the 2017 batch.

I still think it's a joke, but well played guys, it's a good one!

 

Only Google has the resources to pull off something this elaborate. T-shirts, stickers, hoodies for sale in the tasting room, separate section for Offshoot on the tasting room list.

 

I think the joke is going to be on those that don't sign up for access and the discount.

Personally, I think its a great idea.

Removing a limitation on the creativity and innovation of The Bruery crew, is just going to result in good things for all of us.

 

On the flip side, the website for what's ostensibly supposed to be an important new brand is a form, and the collection of photos on social media featuring a lonely coaster (and a can, unseen, with a sticker on the top?) is looking a little barren. But I'm not at the tasting room, so maybe it's more elaborate there.

 

Also I didn't even make it out of the first paragraph of the blog post without laughing:

I can't help but feel like this is poking fun at everyone else in the craft beer world.
