So i filled my howler with beffuddlement, it was the bottom of the keg. My howler was about 4 ounces shy of full

I finally had The Order today. IMHO, that is a great addition to their year-round releases. Hit all the right notes for a tripel. Really liked that one.

Also had this year's MW yesterday. Was almost crushable which is scary for one of their 20% bombs.

Also, had a Room for More today. As delicious as ever. Figuring out how to make my final four bottles stretch out for awhile (along with RDF and M&FT).

Great sale IMO. It was interesting to think about "what would be on sale" and what they had. Great choices I thought.

    Hottenroth - $4
    Mischief - $5
    Tradewinds
    Elements of Funk (3 types?) - $7.50
    Beret - $10ish
    Sans Pagaie - $11.50
    White Mocha - $21
    Tart of Darknes - $14
    White Oak - $7.50
    Chocolate Rain - $39
    Levuds - $7
    Tradewinds - $7
Sour in the Rye - $11

Had a great time at the waxing station. Bought 6 bottles for my friend. Waxed them all. I think he has about a 3/4" thickness of yellow wax on one of the bottles.

I totally failed on the yellow wax. All of mine looked like Clayface.

Lol, im glad I went last time. One of the workers was cool enough to demo a bottle and there was spare bottles to test on.

I'm a tad annoyed that they're clearing out Mole after taking it off the site after what felt like a very short period of time. I never actually got to try it; if they put it up today I'd buy one at full price.

Probably just as well I don't live in the area, I might have bought dangerous quantities of Levud's and White Oak at those prices

    That's weird since it's a dubbel.

My liver is going to be upset at me for this very same reason.

I wish I could have made it just for the standard sours. SitR, Sans, and Rueuze are still some of my favs at regular price, at 11ish they would have tasted glorious.

    This.

All available stock should've been made available to the societies, and put out on sale after that. If they had enough that they felt like they needed to discount it then we should've had first crack at it. It especially sucks to see "Sold Out" on the site months ago but then see it not just available but fucking discounted for anyone to pick up, as if they just want to get rid of something that's been hanging around. (full disclosure - I'm one of the people who slept on Mole and missed out, so I'm maybe a little bitter)

I'm a die-hard Bruery fan and a mostly-happy Hoarder, and I know this isn't the first time people have bitched about this issue, but even I'm starting to question why I bother with what is a seriously high cost-benefit ratio membership. I guess as long as they have a waiting list clamoring to get in, they can do whatever they want. I know they already have our money so we're a captive audience, but damn... don't make me feel like you're doing me a favor, make me feel good about it.

Opening my beer cabinet and seeing more bottles of masterpieces like RdF and M&FT than Reserve members could ever buy usually answers that question for me. And we're getting Vindictive with cabernet grapes later this year right? mmmmmmmmmm

Random question: are barrel treatments of anniversary ales pretty much done? After the many varieties of Bois and Sucre I don't remember seeing any for Cuivre, and then Poterie just had the scotch barrel variant (though I was reserve for those, dunno if there were hoarders-only options) and Saule seems lonely so far.

Any hoarders in og room? Buy you a pour for access to RdF fill. I'm in blue flannel with brown shirt with wife (Angels cap) and son under monitors on bottle side.

Turned out it kicked just before I got there. Thanks though. M&FT as a consolation is still pretty nice.

Zinfandel is reserve. Cabernet is for hoarders.

Oh wow no kidding. Must have gotten one of the last howler fills. M&FT is insane...good call.

My understanding is they needed to clear out the warehouse space asap (maybe for offshoot?) so selling to members online means those bottles could potentially not be picked up until 3/31/2018, so I can see why they did it.

Holy shit. I just looked at the bottle, I didn't catch that previously. I can already determine that Bruery's version is going to be the superior.
