I wonder how its holding up? Anyone tried a 2.5 year old sourrento before and care to share? I love fresh sourrento.

I wonder how the Sourrento 2014 has held up after a few years, anyone tried it recently?

I had one recently and the vanilla held up surprisingly well.

It's holding up well actually. I prefer it over batch 2.

    If you're serious, yes!

Same. Had one about 2 months ago and it tasted great. Prefer it to batch 2

Had it a few months ago, was still just as good.

What I want to know is if imperial cabernet bottles are still around for future archive sales..

Reason #4,080 why I'm glad to be done with The Bruery forever.

I finally had my 2016 beers on hold delivered last week. And when I opened up the boxes, I came to find that 1/3 of the beers I had already PAID FOR were replaced with 2016 Black Tuesday because they claimed to be out of stock.

How can they be out of stock for a beer that I already purchased and then replace them with something I did not request or want WITH NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER.

Now I have more Black Tuesday than I would ever want and barely any of the beers that I was looking forward to and furthermore, I am certain that I will see (or rather hear of) these beers popping up again in cellar sales throughout the year.

    Good riddance Bruery.

You could... you know... try to bring one to a share... :grinning::rolling_eyes:

    Good Luck

I would be curious to hear of your 4,079 other reasons. I hope you wrote them down.

Just how much BT did they make?? I think they are learning the market for $30 to $50 dollar bottles is much smaller than they thought. See also how much chocolate rain is still around.

That's not the point. They basically took my money and didn't give me the product I had paid for. If they had simply sent an email beforehand offering a refund instead, I wouldn't be upset one bit. But to just swap out one beer for something else they do have on hand is unethical and wrong.

Just curious, what beers were they out of stock on that you did not get?

Yeah that seems messed up. Did they really not communicate beforehand at all? I would think a refund or at least store credit would be offered as an alternative. Have not had this happen to me (yet) but I would quit too if they just subbed in beers on their own.

Nothing at all. Wasn't until I opened up the second (of two) boxes to see the packing slips with beers crossed off and handwriting underneath stating "Out of Stock. Replace with BT 16" across several items.
