I know there have been some jokes going on with this, but they have responded to a few environmentally-minded individuals about clearing the trees for the building. Apparently the plot had already had the trees cut down and they are going to be mounting an effort to plant new trees, so I doubt any of the outlined area will turn into parking. They did say they were not worried about parking, so that lot must be bigger than it looks, they might have people park along that entry road, or expect people to park nearby and walk a bit.

Well, walking my fat ass down the road a bit will help offset that hoppy gut-growing goodness...

I'm picturing an off-site lot with trams like at Disney World.

I doubt that people will have to do much walking or parking on the driveway. The clear cut area around the brewery is massive but doesn't look like it because of how big the brewery is/that the brewery is in the foreground. Pouring the parking lots will be one of the last things they do, you don't want massive trucks and equipment going through those day after day if you can help it.

Seriously. They're building a brand new brewery from scratch on a 70 acre plot of land. There is no way they don't have a well-thought out plan for parking that is convenient for customers and easy to manage. I would be shocked if they expected people to parallel park along the driveway or walk half a mile.

That would sure pose a problem for the guys that take their grandfather in a walker or grandmother like its weekend at bernies to get extra on their allotment, gotta love those guys.

Better than the people who take their infants and toddlers in the blazing sun on the hottest days of the year. Or in the cold rain like I saw on friday.

I never understood that one. I was pretty excited to pick up some bright on wednesday. Yes, its not my favorite beer of theirs. On the other hand I can't think of too many similar beers that I enjoy more. I think that it blows beerd dogs and boats out of the water which is the most similar beer that I can think of. Also shits on captains daughter which people seem to love.

I would not mind having bright in the fridge all of the time. Sap on the other hand..... I can find more comparable west coast ipas in the package store at all times. If I were a fan of that style.

Sap is the shit. I definitely don't see anything comparable at the packie....imo.

I'll admit OG Bright is probably my least favorite TH beer, but only because I'm not a huge fan of single hop Mosaic brews (like Melcher St too). I do like the Bright variants quite a bit though.

I agree, but it's all relative. I think Bright is an outstanding beer in comparison to most stuff from other breweries and also in its own right, but I prefer other Tree House offerings to Bright. That's not to say it's a bad beer, it's just in a different vein.

It is one of the best showcases of Mosaic hops I've come across, but Mosaic can be hit or miss with some people, leading to polarizing opinions of Bright. I don't think anybody here will say Bright is a bad beer, but it's often not what you're in the mood for when you've got Tree House on the mind.

Hopefully people won't need to drag along their elders once Charlton is firing on all cylinders!

Oh, so you feel the same way about mosic that I feel about citra.

I'm a fan of nelson so I prefer the nelson variant. I wasn't fond of the amirillo and simico variant. It was good just no og bright. I feel that most of these mosaic and citra combos are bought down by the citra. That said I hate citra. I've avoided bright with citra since aside from sap eureka with citra is the tree house brew that impressed me the least. I love eureka with nelson and galaxy btw.

Taste is very subjective for sure.

Funny you should say that because I'm not a big fan of Bright but Bright with Citra is one of my favorite (semi regular) TH beers. Subjective indeed.

That's the joke...they are increasing capacity by 10x but actually decreasing parking. Take that!

Even more weird, Mosaic isn't my favorite, Citra is one of my favorites, and I'd take regular Bright over Bright with Citra (have only had 2 of the batches).

I agree, I actually really like Sap... There's some quality about it though, if my first time drinking it I was given it blind, I actually would've guessed that it was something from the Trillium lineup. Am I the only one who thinks this?

I haven't had bright with citra. I'm just not going out of my way for it. Especially since eureka with citra is my least favorite varient. That says I'm talking out of my ### and very well may enjoy it.
