    Thresher getting bottled today.

If the word "underrated" can be applied to anything TG with a straight face, it's Thresher.

Eh, the last batch of Thresher was not nearly as good as it had been in the past. I love that beer a lot, but did not go back after I tried the latest bottle.

Parlor City in CR has XHops Gamma, King Sue and Supa Sumo (KS dry hopped with Mosaic) on tap right now.

Last bottled batch of King Sue was the most insane hoppy TG beer I've had since I started going there in 2013. Please for the love of god replicate that white lighting!!

Thanks for the heads up - was able to stop in to PC today and tried all 3. The King stays the King - the Supa Sumo was good but I drank them side by side and it was no comparison which was better. Really struck by how different the draft version of KS was from the bottle. Today's draft version was full on NE IPA - bright orange and super juicy. I brought home a few bombers of KS from the brewery in October and it tasted more like a West Coast IPA - golden like old-school IPAs.

Did you have the last batch from late February? It was worlds different than the December one which I felt was mediocre.

That's good to know, thanks. Looks like I'll be able to easily get it too.

This batch of Light Speed just OK though. Great to hear about Thresher.

Really hazy and just the right amount of bitter. One of my favorite batches that's been bottled.

Not sure which batch, exactly - but it tasted pretty fresh. We were right across the street at an Easter Egg hunt at the city market anyway, so it made for a nice "adult refreshment" afterwards.

I haven't had any Lightspeed, so I can't comment. There was a time when it was my favorite TG beer (like 4-5 years ago when it was called Millenium Falcon), but the bottled batches have been up and down. I usually wait for someone to rave about a batch before I grab some.

Yep, this batch of Thresher is incredible. Easily beat Fire Skulls Money, Xhops Pink and Mosaic Dry Hopped Sue for my entire group this weekend.

Agreed. Millenium Falcon on tap was delicious. The bottles of LS, however, have been pretty lackluster (this recent one especially). I've mostly stopped buying it but for the batches I have had I think just one was a truly good, memorable beer.

Yeah it is. Last batch was crazy good and I'm usually not a Light Speed fan. This one just tasted like a good pale ale, which I guess is exactly what it is.

Looks like the Decorrah canning machine is up and going. Anyone know if they will label the cans in a way for consumers to know which cans were brewed in florida and which were brewed in Iowa without having to open one up and find out the hard way?

Think Florida deal is going away once Decorah is full up and running.
