Is Nothing Gold worth a taste in comparison with Swish?

 

I had the very first batch and was wayy turned off. But had it later in the season and enjoyed it. First batch was kinda gross.

 

Anyone know what the line looks like at Bissell? My GPS says 10 am arrival, do you think I will be ok?

 

Yes, without a doubt. I don't think they usually sell out until after 1

 

They'll probably be selling out of the front (4 stations) and back (2 stations) - take a quick look if you can to see which line is shorter before you commit. Either way, 10 a.m. should be plenty early.

 

Anyone know the can release schedule after 4/23. Website only shows that as the last date. It's possible I missed it.

 

I believe they announce day of, or very close to it

 

Anyone know if Lux cans will be available still tomorrow? Heading back from Acadia and stopping by Bissell. Lux is one of my favorites.

 

How long has Swish (and Substance) lasted for previous releases? How crazy is the tap room for pours in the afternoon after sellout?

 

I went for the last Saturday release and they sold out in an hour with ~340 cases swish substance was out before that. I think there is supposed to be 500+ for the next release but it is the last release so I would get there early. The tap room was not bad at all when I was there but they had just sold out so not sure how it was later in the day.

 

Thanks! I won't be there, but a group of friends will be going in the afternoon. They're not necessarily "beer people" and I wanted to give them fair warning if it was going to be a mob scene. Sounds like it should be like a normal Saturday afternoon!

 

It will not be normal at all.. Will be insane. My guess is that won't change throughout the day.

 

Another out of towner here, visiting next couple of days from Alabama. Who's likely to have longer lines tomorrow: Foundation for Epihany release, or Bissell for Industry & Inferiority & Substance? I'm inclined to start at Bissell then move to Foundation. Are either of these releases likely to sell out fast?

100% go to bissell first. Epiphany will last for days if not weeks. Enjoy your trip!

 

I plan to be in Portland on 04/29. Is a release of Reciprocal similar to the craziness surrounding Swish? Do I have to get there around open to guarantee cans, or can I arrive slightly later?

 

Too bad i'm going to miss barrel aged umbra by a few days, but does this mean there are no cans being released after that until they reopen?

 

Any thoughts as to when to show up for Swish this Saturday?
