Also any plans for St. Pattys? I know one year we had a couple special variants of unique beers.

No plans for Earthrise 6ers atm, that would require more tanks to afford the necessary volume that would eat up. We definitely plan to keep bombers a semi regular thing though.

No beer plans for St. Party's but the taproom will open at noon. The kitchen *might do a Reuben or something for lunch, not positive as I'm out of town this week. We do however have 5 Pi Day beers on still if you didn't already check them out on the 14th...

    Key Lime

I'm hoping we might bottle some next year. Might depend how the response in Saturday is. Kinda really want to do barrel aged Coffee Joy in bottles sometime after the last release too.

@cbusnoles sorry I was out of town last week. Hope you had a good saturday wherever you found yourself!

A release with both of these would be so clutch. Make it happen!

"While still in the process of fermenting/conditioning, we've gone ahead and committed to releasing the first beer during Columbus Beer Week on Thursday May, 18th. The goal will be to bottle most, and have some draft to sell in-house. The first beer, anticipated to be ready, will be a farmhouse saison.

Brewed with 45% wheat, 13% rye, rose hips, and coriander, fermented and aged in oak barrels with a mixture of yeast strains, including Brettanomyces and lactobacillus bacteria, It will be tart and funky. I plan to call it Terre du Sauvage, which translates to 'Wild Earth' or 'Land of the Wild'." - Chris Davison, Head Brewer.

Are yub nub bottles still available? I see it's on the website tap list, but wanted to check on bottles.

There was maybe a case or so left in the taproom today, and yeah some hit distro this week so you might find it around town.

Super excited for this personally. I was making notes for beer names last year at GABF... been waiting a while for this day to come.

This was posted by WRB today on their facebook page.

    http://www.wolfsridgebrewing.com/wrb-loyalty-club

I was really excited that they were finally looking into doing a membership club of sorts until I actually read the details. I'm in a local Columbus beer group on facebook that has been discussing it this morning and I've found that I'm not alone. Unfortunately, the perks just aren't as applicable for me. I do buy my fair share of pours, but often find myself going for flights since Chris puts out way too many good things that I want to try. Trying to put them all down in full pour form simply to save $1 would be cost prohibitive in the grand scheme of things, let alone a path to getting effed up! I rarely ever buy merch or growlers from anywhere, and especially not enough to make that perk worthwhile enough for me. I do love the idea of the quarterly parties that will feature special beers or infusions, but again, I would opt for flights so the $1 off of full pours would be wasted.

I was really hoping there would be more of an incentive towards the bottle releases. Like, group members are guaranteed x amount of bottles (maybe a pickup window for people that can't make every event), early entry to the release events....basically something like a built in Early Bird thing like they've been doing. That was a great idea and one that could be built upon for this. One guy sent them something on Twitter alluding to the benefits not meeting the cost and received a very receptive response to send any suggestions their way. I would love it if consideration is given and this could be morphed into a truly worthwhile club for what I hold as my favorite Columbus brewery considerably above all of the rest.

If Wolf's Ridge is open to suggestions, then add my voice to the "guaranteed allotment at bottle release events" chorus.

A big reason I joined (and renewed my membership in) the Triple Digit - League of Extraordinary Chickows! is because I don't have to drive to Cincinnati for every release. League membership includes at least one bottle quarterly, and the right to purchase additional bottles that can be picked up at a later date.

It's a little different scenario there, since the quarterly Chickows! are allocated solely for League members...but an ability to purchase a "guaranteed allotment" perk would generate more interest from me if Wolf's Ridge were able to incorporate that.
